Came for the lightning, stayed for the Caracara!!!
Dude we were freaking out!! Haha such cool birds. See ya in a few weeks buddy!
Chris. Watch out for your toes in Tarantula territory!
🤣
missing having Chris on the vlog
Me too! She gets out every once in a while still, but taking an extended break from being in front of the camera.
Arizona blond tarantula! The males have the dark legs! Great lightning photos!
Thanks Karen!
I was in North Scottsdale during these storms many times and got so many great shots with the fluffy clouds and shadows...truly amazing!
Wow !! That was a big spider !!! Great that you got your wildlife shots
Thanks buddy! Yeah even for a tarantula That was a big fella!
Great lightning and wildlife photos. cant wait to see some more...
Thank you Tye!
Loved the variety in this video!
Thanks Juanita!
Congrats on the lightning pics!
Thanks David!
Hey 👋 great to see you. The monsoon has been awesome this year. Cool photos.🤠
Thanks Richard! It was a great season. I wish I could’ve gotten out more!
Thanks for sharing your adventure.
Nice shots!
Awesome video Mike. You must go through thousands of images from those timelapses. Wow, that spider . .and people think Australia has all the wild animals ..!!!!!
Haha thanks Richard! Yes it’s a tall order to go through all those images to find lightning haha. Most of the time I find it after the timelapse is rendered, then I see where it’s at in the timeline, so I can at least narrow it down a bit haha. Thanks for watching!
The jaguar comes over from Mexico for vacation? LOL
🤣🤣🤣 he’s lucky La Migra doesn’t detain him 🤣
@@PereaPhotography yeah if he can get over the wall without being shot :P
@@chris_perea 🤣
Another great video and beautiful images. I just love the monsoon vlogs. Keep up the great work.
Thanks Eric!
great shot!!
Thank you!
I finally got a pic of a lighting strike! It was a couple of weeks ago on the way up Mt Lemon. I need to thank you for that. I had watched one of your videos and set up the Z7 to take pictures for a few minutes every 3 seconds. Thanks again!
Congrats!!!
Very Cool 😎 👌
Thanks buddy!
Waoo!!!Excelente,good job👏
Thank you!
Great video!
Thank you!
Jaguars on vacation lol love those ominous looking skies, great lighting shots Mike 👍😎
Haha thanks Dave!!
Good to see another video. Seems you have slowed down on putting out content; I was starting to worry. Hoping for one last storm chase this week!
Yeah we slowed down a bit over the summer, but we’ll be picking back up again!
I have been going nuts taking all the photos from the monsoons lol...i'm a fairly new photographer and I do not own pro euipment yet but wow...I LOVE photography (especially after almost going blind TWICE! I plan on traveling for awhile and adding more content to my channel...thanks for sharing!
Good luck!!! And thank you for watching!
I'm glad you were able to get some great lightning photos after not seeing much at the start! That tarantula looked quite large too!
Thanks Scott! It was a big guy for sure!
Nice! Persistence is the key, eh? I guess Chris has become camera shy. Keep shooting. 👍🥂
Thanks buddy! Yeah she’s taking an extended break from being in front of the camera.
Something I'd love to photograph but UK doesn't have those vast open plains areas or a specific monsoon season so llove watching these vids
Cool lightning shots, but the wildlife enthusiast in me really likes the mule deer against the mountain and the two caracara images. Good to hear jaguars are making a comeback.
Thanks John!
Resisted the urge to call your camera “Mjölnir” did you? Great video as always
You still doing electrical work?
Haha yeah!! And yes I’m still doing electrical work. I should probably try and take this UA-cam thing more seriously so I don’t have to!
Awesome shots! Lightning and wildlife! Was that the Kofa Wildlife Refuge?
No this was the Buenos Aires Wildlife Refuge. And thank you!
@@PereaPhotography Thank you for the information. I truly appreciate it!
Wow, those lightning shots were awesome. Did you use any device to trigger the camera at the right moment?
I use a lightning trigger on one of my cameras, but honestly, it catches about 60% of the strikes. I much prefer setting up a timelapse.
Hello and thank you, is it possible next time explain about your shot focus? Thank you
Some really awesome images! I definitely need to get down that way and go chasing with you some time.
Absolutely man!! And thank you 🙏🏼
