In South Africa I grew up when we used to do this but education got the concepts of poverty and hand-made living all mixed up. So people understood this to be poverty but today it's called 'living green' or 'off the grid'. This must still be confusing to many - sad.

A building like that needs more roof overhang and a slight slant in one direction in a rainy climate. Protect the walls and their finish.
well the thing is made out of mud and sticks. rain will wash the whole house away before long. prob needs constant upkeep
@@DeuceGenius well I have a mud house that I inharited from my great grandfather. Rain didnt do much because the roof is wider than the house itself

That's a lot of hard work! I liked the lily pads and water lilies in the last video I saw a bit ago, I actually looked them earlier today, there is a ultra violet water lily you might like, they are a little pricey, but you work hard and if you like it you should get at least one, plus the frogs might like them also.
