1 land can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and u need to also buy tools so add a couple more hundred plus bricks witch aren't cheap power and plumbing can cost a crap tone of money to set up in a home maid house including that it's mostly maid out of dirt so no it's not cheap but is peaceful way to live

Just when you think the house is done, the next scene comes along, and the guy walks in with more shelves, or mud, or paint, and it keeps on going! I was mesmerised for 20 minutes. Very wholesome stuff..

@Larinda Nomikos its not going anywhere, these were traditional ways of building homes before brick n mortar. I have seen much bigger houses during my childhood in Indian villages which were strong enough to withstand heavy rains n storms for decades.
How is this place going to survive a flood?

@@GoddessBB For him maybe. But then is suffocation right aswell? :D You dont want smoke to go in in such small and closed space. This kind of stove WAS used and is real. But in bigger houses with vent holes in roof in middle ages. Not with closed off ceiling.
I jusr wonder how the smoke is trapped towards one way out, and does not fill the house. It is not quite clear how he does that. Does anyone have an idea? this is a special kraft

This is spectacular. It never ceases to amaze me what people can do when there's a vision and some hard work. Reminds me of being a kid and making forts in the woods. Except this is way more well done haha

About two feet of water. I built a platform and a roof that was pretty water tight. Never got to finish it because we moved. I was only 12-13 and my parents let me play in a huge swamp. Loved it.
@@karlahiggins5993 well its more dangerous to go outside now. Some kids really want to, but the parents are afraid of the increased amount of dangers. People speeding down the street, increased amount of kidnappings, and sadly today pedophiles are more common than one would like to think.

Mad respects for this guy. It’s the perfect tiny house. With electricity and a computer!!! I especially loved how A) he never spoke and there was no music, and B) he used real tools you’d find around the house, as well as brick and mortar, so it won’t melt away when the rainy season comes. But for one thing, I love literally EVERYTHING about it. The one thing: It’s a rainforest!!! If I hear tigers outside, or wake up with a tarantula in my bed, or a scorpion in my shoe, we’re done. It’s getting a big FOR SALE sign.

Houses cost too much here in California, I love camping so buying a piece of land here near the lake in the mountains where I live and building something like this doesn’t sound too bad. I might actually do something like this, thanks for the inspiration 👍🏽
Bro houses cost too much in every first world country!!! here in New Zealand i cant find a rental because i have 5 cats, people wont rent to pet owners because of the supposed damage the animals do to their investment.
