I gave this series a try a couple of days ago after finding episodes of season 1 here on youtube. It's shaping up to be one of the greatest animes I've seen. I was already familiar with the franchise after watching the original movie. I'm hooked on it. The songs are fucking amazing.
akumu sasaki nah, attack on titan was awesome stuff, but the end let me feels like i was watching and great stage play and got thrown out after the first of 5 acts. And it has way to long battle's for the general pacing in my opinion. Just the battle for Trost were 9 episodes or so without big impact. Ok the main gets his special ability in the end but really 9 episodes? (please don't misunderstand this as an hate for shingeki, it isn't. I like the franchise, but it has way to much problems in my opinion)
Scaleoj2 u are right, the Battles are rly very long but im looking forward to seassion 2 :) hopefully it get better :D but my fave still is mirai nikki ( give it a try :D)
Scaleoj2 I think the direction they took it in is fine. I kinda felt a little frustrated that the battles were dragged out for several episodes, but they leave you on the edge wanting more. They did well with not spilling the entire plot in two episodes. Just take Avatar The Last Airbender for example. It's a great anime(?), but the intro of it spoils the entire series. Fire benders are destructive, need to be stopped, and Aang is the one who stops them. That's literally what happens, but it still is claimed as a really great series and I think so as well. Different animes have different ways of telling their stories and some ways of story telling don't favor spilling everything in the beginning.
I love how this is one of the only anime openings that isn't in japanese XD one of my absolute favs, plus the show was really good in both japanese and english.

@slartibarfast1 Makes sense to me, seeing as both openings are comprised of 2 or 3 languages. Ive seen werid languages translated phonetically and i find this one of the easier weird ones to even sing to. and Naw, i prefer the SAC1's intro by far.
@ShaDHP23 Nah, Just Russian and English. I'm currently learning Russian, and translated the Russian lyrics from the phonetics given in the description. So no Latin at all in there. You can also tell by how it sounds, in Russian there are lots of "ya's " and "ye's" whereas in Latin you would be hearing sounds like "is" at the ends of the words.
