Tattoo artist look at tattoos like art but no everyone sees it as such. Some just want a part of their past or something they believe in tattoed on them. Being a artist they should understand that.

A good tattoo doesnt have to be "artistic", it doesnt have to be exact, nor brilliant, or colorful. It only has to be what it means to you. Ex. A friend has firemans crest with axe and helmet and a wall of flame. It looks like a child drew it because he drew it when he was a child at the time of his grandfather's (a fireman) passing. Great and worst in ink is subjective.

Bad tattoos are normally the result of a good night and most of the time are covereds peoples most favorites. Mine is reallyyyy fucked up giraffe on my inner forearm but I got it from a dude I was super interested in at the time and came from a really fun, drunk night that ill probably always remember. Not all tattoos 'mean' something but sometimes they have cool stories.

Lol once I finally decided my tattoos don't have to mean anything and I simply realized how much I appreciate art and the artists that do them it made it so much easier to take the plunge and just remind myself that it doesn't have to mean anything if I dont want it to. what it means is that I get to wear amazing artwork by an artist that I personally look up to for the rest of my life and that makes me happy.

I totally understand the "it's my worst tattoo and I love it" cause my favorite tattoo it's one I did on myself with a friends machine. I dont know how to tattoo so it looks hideous but the experience was amazing and when I look at it brings me back.
I love the fact, that even despite that it is a bad tattoo, it means more to them to have it, then to have it removed. BROVO !! I even love more how they explained the story of it, you can see on their faces the importance of it. Warm memories are the best, it stirs your soul, and those around you.

A good tattoo doesnt have to be "artistic", it doesnt have to be exact, nor brilliant, or colorful. It only has to be what it means to you.
Ex. A friend has firemans crest with axe and helmet and a wall of flame. It looks like a child drew it because he drew it when he was a child at the time of his grandfather's (a fireman) passing. Great and worst in ink is subjective.

Bad tattoos are normally the result of a good night and most of the time are covereds peoples most favorites. Mine is reallyyyy fucked up giraffe on my inner forearm but I got it from a dude I was super interested in at the time and came from a really fun, drunk night that ill probably always remember. Not all tattoos 'mean' something but sometimes they have cool stories.
