Although I was too young but still I remember distinctly that I loved his voice & use to play his records on radiogram again & again. He never died He has become immortal. No doubt he was a great singer I loved to listen his songs number of time again n again v❤him but still can't believe that someone can poisoned him. 😢

But, if you watch our documentary, you’ll see their father had lost his mind after master madam’s death. It was sad story to put forward. All India radio has no classical recordings left of him.

And master madan's village Khankhana very near to me it was first in the district jalandhar nowadays it's in Nawasher district it's the birth place of filam actor Amreesh puri sahab.. Bollywood music drictor Khiyyam sahab... And music drictor Husan lal Bhagat ram

My father was an ardent fan of master madan. Since my childhood around 1954-55 ,I saw him listening radio Ceylon ,the old songs of Sahgal, master madan, Juthika Roy , Amir bai kernataki, Jagan moi mitro, etc. I was inquisitive about madan mohan ‘s death by poison. Thanks for detailed information of his life and showing pictures. He was so innocent. From Bangladesh 😢

We heard from our elders that he was diagnosed with some ailments in his throat and doctors stopped him From singing but he couldn’t resist from it and that ailment took his life . Allah knows better but irrespective of any religion , cast or creed he was very dear to the whole world .( from Islamabad Pakistan )
