I'm a household of one. I'm just going to do the gravy. Local butcher is giving me the bone element for free ❤
Happy thanksgiving to you.
I am too. For the second year it's chicken breast braised in sage gravy in my slow cooker. Cornbread dressing and homemade cranberry-orange sauce are the sides.
Happy Turkey day! 🦃
It's important to me, as I watch ATK only here.
I laughed at Bridget's reaction to skipping the gravy. Lolol same!
"I like to serve my Gravy in a coffee urn", Brilliant!
Welcome back Bridget! It's so good to see you here!!!
She was gone?
@@DelsonGirl For many months she was not in any videos, except the prerecorded intros or outros.
🤣 Turkey breast with gravy and rolls, plus a mop - the perfect Thanksgiving feast!
To clean up the mess made by the consumers of the turkey, gravy and rolls...? 😉. Of course, sloppy guests like those wouldn't get another invite from me ever again.
My first time cooking Turkey for Christmas (we don't do Thanksgiving in the UK), I decided to bone and roll a turkey leg, seeing as it was only for two people. The leg, when it arrived at the butcher's was nine lb. Even after boning, it was 8.5lb. It was absolutely immense.
Yikes! That's a turkey leg!
I knew I liked Bridgette. She's a true gravy gal! And those rolls looked delish! Happy Thanksgiving y'all!
I got a small crock pot to keep the gravy warm during the meal. I even found a small ladle to serve the gravy.
Wow, such simple ingredients, I love the demonstration and steps for a two person meal with a little left over for next day sandwiches is a delicious winner for me. Gracias, I plan to make this tastey Thanks Giving meal I will need to get the rosemary stem, white wine two ingredients I don't have but will gladly get to expand my kitchen experience
Nothing like posting this literally a few hours before Thanksgiving.
ATK never disappoints!
a signup sheet with sides people pick from so theres not multiples; and everyone brings Tupperware, its not hard to potluck.
I don't like long sleeves while cooking! But it's a great recipe! Thank you.
Somehow my sleeve hems always ended up dipped in something so I now roll mine up or find a short sleeved top. Not afraid of occasional splatter on my arms-- I'll survive .
PEOPLE WARNING TOMORROW!!!
Don't fall off the gravy boat.
😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆
Have a great Thanksgiving
they never stated how long to cook the turkey on the 2nd half when you bump the temp up yo 500 degrees the 1st part was and hour at 325.... how long at 500?
Bump! Please say how long!
I use a probe from ThermoWorks.
For some recipes ATK prefers to cook by temp instead of time especially with large cuts of meat that could vary a lot. I checked the site and the full recipe says whenever it hits 160 degrees, which they said is about another 15 to 30 minutes longer.
They always leave you hanging , just so will have to pay for the subscription all about the $$$$
thank you
I never learn how to peel back the skin and salt the meat like that
I am deafly gonna do that today and let it sit overnight
Do it with butter and herbs up the skin...so good!
Cheese cloth cover wine and butter!😋
@@kallen868 This! Absolutely this! We always use Penzeys Northwoods seasoning mixed in with the butter and it's wonderful addition
@@Fishbone8891I used to love Penzeys until I saw the rant that CEO Bill Penzey posted. It's still there on the site at link "About Republicans". That's a little too "woke" for my taste. He took it an extreme that even other woke companies haven't. Seems sort of foolish but it's his company. Just good to know where he stands.
@@jaycarver4886 I certainly did not agree with his stance either, but I can at least buy a thing of spice here and there without relying too much on his company moving forward.
Just be really careful NOT to tear the skin or else it'll dry out the breast where there's no skin.
Aside from the deck mops, what about sponge mops, spray mops, or steam mops?
I love to see you back .
Looks delicious! ❤
Too close to Thanksgiving. Will still give it a try at some future point.
This is an older video. I saved this 2 years ago. Unsure of how old.
Googled atk turkey breast with gravy this was originally filmed in 2017. Under Cooks country
Only thing I don’t understand is why/how there was absolutely no seasoning used on the turkey & no salt doesn’t count lol like if u need to rely on gravy for all the flavor…. Uhh
Wondering if I can use sorghum molasses for the rolls.
Amazing video ❤❤❤❤
👍🏻
Turkey crown
I add a little orange marmalade to my gravy before I strain it, adds a little citrus flavor, yummy
Salt the meat. Okay got it 👍
What's going on in your house that you have "tons" of spills and messes?
I made this, I cut back one of the spoons of salt, and the turkey was still too salty. Otherwise it would have been great.
A lot of turkey these days is already heavily brined. The flesh can be very salty before you even add more salt, and the gravy it produces can also be too salty. I try to avoid brined turkey.
Excellent video 12:27
💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
Brine brine brine. 24 to 48 hours.
Honestly not a fan of Turkey, I’m making big steaks tomorrow
Sounds great!
I'm making chicken breast. It's all about good eating on Thanksgiving.
Roast turkey is one of the simplest things to make. But not here.
the first segment gave new meaning to the word going cold turkey who lets the turkey sit for 30 minutes the turkey is Cold. so if you like piping hot gravy and really cold turkey no seasoning just salt then make this recipe
Nothing says "a small group" like how to use a good mop. SMFH *eye roll*
That ring sure is getting a lot of contact with the turkey, yikes
Edit: forgot it was a turkey, put chicken at first
It is a turkey. Billions of people cook with their rings on every day, i doubt it would continue if there was a severe problem.
@jong2359 my bad it's a turkey. As for the second point, this is a person who works in a professional kitchen, who is supposed to lead by example.
The ring has a lot of nooks and crannies for raw meat to get into that are hard to clean and it's disgusting to think about. Jewellery in kitchens is frowned upon at best, but its generally banned and there's a good reason for that.
(And that's without touching on her nail polish, which is another hazard)
So many interruptions for advertisements make this almost unwatchable. Please stop doing that!
What kind of monster serves..... turkey BREAST of all things. The worst part of any turkey.
I agree.
I do not like gravy at all. That turkey is under-seasoned. 🤦🏽♀️
Skip seeing Kelly Clarkson playing Gravy Pong!😜
are you a seasoning-american?
Exactly. Where the heck is the black pepper?!
Otherwise, it looks good, ATC.
🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨
It looks delicious and juicy, but relies too much on the gravy. For guests who may be cutting calories, they may want more seasoning.
