- I was digging through some files recently and found this short but sweet little throwback to mid-summer of 2019 at the Mt. Rainier Railroad & Logging Museum. After another successful weekend of hauling passengers, ex-Polson Logging Company 2-8-2 #70 makes a deadhead move back to the shops at Mineral, WA with five empty coaches and an ALCO diesel in tow. Filmed with my Samsung Galaxy S7. As always, I hope you enjoy. Like, comment, and subscribe for more videos in the future. -ERV
great video ! Another newbie q: Why does the engineer vary the train whistle. As if he talks with it:-)
Haha some engineers like to be more creative with the whistle than others.
Cause the guy is compensating.
Late question: What's the whistle chime?
It's an Ashton 3-chime.
