LaMalfa is right about Newsom. This summer I drove my electric car to San Francisco and I stopped at the charger to charge it so I could get home. It wouldn’t work. I found out later Newsom had issued a cap on the chargers due to the electric grid without informing us. I was 3 hours away from home, stranded in 110 degree heat. He orders us to buy electric cars, then prevents us from charging them. This is the man who wants to be your president. Governor Nuisance!

Back in the day, people who owned horse businesses came out publicly to speak of the evil of cars, wood logging companies came up with anti natural gas campaigns, it's all just big business propaganda programmed into the weak-minded... I'm in Northern California too, and keep telling people I am here for the climate and not the politics. But he is right, it's becoming unbearable what government is doing to us, mandate this and that until we can't even breathe right. The west coast loonies outnumber us in the red zones of middle California.
I've been in NorCal my entire life, 4 decades minus the 2.5 years I lived in AZ. The Getty Political Crime Family (Getty, Pelosi, Feinstein, Brown, Newsom) has been running this state since the late 60s. They sure have rigged, robbed, and ruined everything and everyone out here. I've never been a Republican but I also haven't ever voted for any of them. However, I did sign the petition to recall Grabbin More Funds back in 2020, and I signed the recent petition to recall him again. Those "west coast loonies" don't actually outnumber us. Hollywood and the media just make it appear that way.

By residents of California lost power for many days last winter… He meant to say we were trapped for over a month in 10 foot deep snow with little if any government support. I've lived here most of my life, but looking for another state that will not have these stupid, unlawful mandates which include letting our water back into the ocean while our farmers are being told to cut back because of water shortages. Unreasonable gas prices (over $5 in Northern California, higher yet along coast and Southern California). Rolling blackouts. Mandating unreasonable gas & oil & electric standards. Passing laws without the people to mandate our babies and students affirming "health care" and surgeries without parental knowledge. I too am in Doug's district. I was in his district before I moved out of Penn Valley I lived there when we were agricultural then invaded by people from San Jose sad what they did to Nevada County. Most of us here actually feel similarly to this distinguished gentleman, just look at the red/blue maps of how the state voted. The problem is that the masses of population huddled together along the coast (Bay Area, LA, etc.) make it appear that the state is “blue".

Over 4.5 million California conservatives voted for Trump in 2020. I'll bet that's more conservatives than you have in your entire state.
Californians were first to address illegal immigration with Prop 187 in the early 90s. That Prop passed overwhelming but was overturned by the corrupt court. Californians also passed Prop 164, term limits, in 1992, for state politicians. The politicians just moved to other political positions.
California has been destroyed by politicians and changing demographics. There are so many illegals and foreigners that come into this state. You wouldn't recognize it as part of the United States.

I've been lucky enough to visit and drive through California several times and agree with this speaker on how beautiful it is. I was oblivious, at the time, of it's politicians, about how they are ruining this once magnificent state. I an not surprised now to know how the left once again demolishes another area of the USA. I just paid my annual vehicle registration for a 21 yr old pickup with over 200,000 miles in the amount of $159.00 !! Insanity! Due to our insane taxes, gas is still over $4.50 a gallon. My power was shut off last week for over 24 hours due to winds. Last year it was shut off multiple times and once for 4 days. Lots of food was lost with no monetary compensation. Our state has over 70% of all the homeless in this country. Crazy liberal agendas are ruining this beautiful state.

I was shocked that Newsom was re-elected after he told people they couldn't have Thanksgiving with their families during covid but he was then caught at the French Laundry with a group of friends not abiding by the rules he made for the people. He should have been run out of that state last year.
Actually Many calis were just as shocked. So many were against him that it felt like it seemed majority of Californians did not vote for him and that's here in Sacramento.
