- It's that time of year again and Santa's coming to town on U.S. Sugar's Toys For Tots Train. This is my favorite train to chase with the toys donated by U.S. Sugar and their employees being off loaded at each stop this train helps a lot of local community families with the holidays. To add to the special occasion 148 was fitted with one of N&W 611's former whistles. Thanks For Watching Please Share.

Hearing the 611 whistle down here is just surreal. Very nice to see this old girl in action as always.
The new SD40 (new for US Sugar anyways) coming through Lake Placid after the Express had gone was also a nice catch. Just this morning I saw the SD40 coming through Lake Placid again in the opposite direction, ahead of the day's Santa Express, most likely lashed to the same Geep it was seen with in this video.
