Dawn is the one who started mess, reported back to the heads with group business, she also created a troll account and spread rumors about her own band mates, and was violent with a group member and made excuses for her behavior.
It was never gonna work because they didn't start out as friends. They started out competing against each other. There was no natural chemistry. It was manufactured "Girl power". They had a lot of really good songs though. 💕
Unfortunately, I have to agree with you. I say unfortunately because it didn't have to be that way. They could've made it and been an example to so many young girls out there. Just because you're different doesn't mean you can't be friends or at least co-exist.
Bingo and that Mexican chick was more friends and trusted white before she realize the two black chicks were more supportive then then the two whites chicks. Dawn and d woods were just two blocks girls who pin against each other.

yup it was a reality TV SHOW LOL this aint no musical group LMFAO
She should do one for ... G.R.L. ... Little Mix and Fifth Harmony ... they each had one black girl in the group and I wanna know the back story behind those girls ... Leigh Anne, Normani and Simone.
D. Woods never reunited with the group because she knew what time it was. She knew they wouldn't all be able to stay together like they did before they were broken up the first time. That's why she stayed making own her moves and didn't associate with Danity Kane.
I mean, if I found out one of my own group members was creating a hate campaign online for me, I’d want nothing to do with that group either. Especially since the group was being sabotaged by the label and not making much money.
Diddy does not need to relaunch making the band. He didnt do right by the first groups. He just wants money and the new group is going to end up broker than they were before. I was so shocked when I saw the group member's wife from Day 26 was a stripper because they were so broke.
Are you talking about Willie's wife? He's the only one in the group that is married. And Day26 just toured several years ago. But I guess that money ran out already
@@86CrewMembership you must be talking about Love & Hip Hop. I didn't watch that season they were on but that's sad. Willie has the potential to be a great solo act. He was the only in the group I could see going solo and being successful.
@@JWill951 duh willie was an artist in the biz before he was picked to be in day 26 so he would have a head start on everyone else. But diddy is the main issue here. Both day 26 and danity kane could have been superstars but he didnt care about his artists
Dirty Money was everything. I hate this coloristic world. And I never understood what people obsession with Aubrey was. No offense but her singing voice didn’t stick out to me
But we can’t act like Dirty Money was better than Danity Kane. I feel like Dirty Money was a bounce back for Diddy because he wanted to be a solo artist again and kept Dawn because he liked her vocals.
Aundrea kept quitting I don’t like that I understand family is important but don’t make a commitment to then bail every time when shit gets tough like that’s not cool she could of just stayed away all together
Odyssey Mack Thats why Diddy said if he could choose the group again he wouldn’t work with her because she’s too quick to give up. For her to just quit when Aubrey gave her another opportunity was shameful.
Bonita Chaquita I mean yeah getting fired on national television and being told that if they could do it over, she wouldn’t be picked. It probably took a toll on her
Shannon and Aubrey going on the breakfast club and paint Dawn as this...... they basically sold her as an angry black woman. Def didnt sit well with me
So many people are saying "I would have fired Drea too, she weak." She was also broke. How many of y'all want to be humiliated on national tv by your boss regularly and not make money from your true passion which is music? How many of y'all would go to a job that doesn't respect or pay you?
She was broke the first time around when the group was originally disbanded. People call her weak because she wanted to quit the group before it got disbanded and after that, she quit Aubrey's comeback concert after recording the song and rehearsals. Then she quit the reunion midway through the tour. I'm sure she was going to get paid for the concert with Aubrey and most likely got paid for appearing in a couple of the episodes of all about Aubrey as well as the reunion tour. So being broke doesn't have to do with her quitting so many times. And actually, she didn't quit the first time either. Diddy fired her. So money didn't have anything to do with it.
You're counting coins that you don't even know exist. How do you know Drew got paid for Aubreys show? We don't. Also she quit the second time because of egos. Didn't she quit before they fall apart again after Dawn punched Aubrey? I don't blame her, performing for peanuts and having to be around divas would get old fast and I'd quit too. But if you feel so strongly go audition for Diddy new group and I'll see how long you last.
@@michaelmarsh3056 I'm not counting coins that don't exist. She sure did get paid for the episodes she appeared on all about Aubrey. She may have quit the tour because of ego, but again, she was still getting paid. So you yourself proved that point that it wasn't about money or being broke AND she quit before Dawn even touched Aubrey. Obviously egos and diva behavior had not much to do with it since she originally wanted to join them again on this most latest tour but didn't because her husband was sick. They didn't get paid peanuts for any of their tour's. They got paid pretty well seeing as their shows were all packed. So. Again, money had had nothing to do with her wanting to quit so many times. As for me "auditioning", I never said I was a singer and even if I were, I wouldn't be stupid enough to go to someone like Diddy to try and sign me.
The truth is that Danity Kane was it. They have it. They have the natural chemistry, the star power, the performance quality, the talent. I wish Diddy and his team cared enough about their mental health to let them truly bond as a team and make them all feel like the stars they were because the truth is whatever drama they had going on ... we never knew. These girls were destined for greatness and greed squandered it. Dawn, Shannon and Aubrey did a great job with DK3 and their 2018/2019 tour. And I’m at least grateful for that.
colorism is real. As a dark skin black women that’s experienced discrimination in all aspects in my life due to my skin color, I can’t imagine how harsh it is in hollyweird & the industry. It’s a shame being an unambiguous dark skin women is literally frowned up. Dawn is beyond beautiful too! It’s sad that her career would have been different if she were light skin. Colorism is one of the reasons I go so hard about distinguishing mixed race from black folks. Allowing the likes of Kim kardashian to refer to & label her children as black instead of mixed, erases actual black folks, especially unambiguous black folk. If we continuously refer to mixed race people as black, it’s allowing companies, advertisements, commercials, etc to use mixed race people to represent actual black people, especially darkskin black folk. Eventually unambiguous black folks will be erased from movies, media, commercials, dolls, etc, all together. We won’t be able to see ourselves represented & actual images of ourselves no where...
That’s actually a very valid point, I have biracial children and I refer to them as black..but I totally understand your point and I’ve never heard anyone explain it that way.❤️❤️
Yooooo, I literally just finished Part one and had already made peace with having to wait another week for part 2. Thank you Empressive! This is truly impressive!
She has a pen game. That will save you. Aubrey has tried so many things and never really popped. Last I heard of her she was in Trump Jr divorce scandal.
: Dawn comes from good stock. I don’t think she was trying to messing anyone up on purpose, and it’s always one’s duty to look out for one’s best interest esp. amid confusion. That’s a part of being a professional.
Rachele Francine, always thought she was gorgeous so when pt 1 mentioned her being bullied I just couldn’t 👿 it probably really got to her, sad because like I said she was already gorgeous to begin with.
The dark skin girls in the dirty money group are beautiful... I looked up to them and love their music I always thought they were different from what television always show us when it comes to darkskin artists... So nw Diddy really did Dirty Money or if I should all the money dirty... He's a whole mess..
This was EVERYTHING!!! I watched Danity Kane’s journey from beginning to now. I appreciate the time and energy you put into this. I learned some stuff I had no idea happened. DK has so much talent. I hope to see a full reunion in the future. Thank you for this🙏🏾
I love that d.woods said she didn’t know anything about the reunion and then in the same breather said they weren’t open to working with her schedule. Which is it?!
They extended an invitation for EVERYONE to come back. I would've respected her if she just was honest from jump saying she had no desire and kept it pushing. They're response was very classy and professional tho when they were asked.
King Sham so did Dawn after she finally paid Diddy back. But I think it was a general understanding that Diddy wouldn’t be involved. Especially if Aubrey was there. Aundrea too for that matter. I think he would rather put Diddy- Dirty Money back together first. And not for nothing, I don’t think they would’ve gone back to Bad Boy anyway. They came off tour in debt, was never believed in by the label, and we all know that label is a black hole for artists who don’t cater to urban black people who are rap and traditional RnB fans. I don’t see how anyone signs to Bad Boy or Cash Money at this point in the game. Too much info out.
Empressive just made me watch two 45 min long documentaries about a band that I quite honestly disliked when growing up. Documentary was so well made and insightful, great job!
I can now understand why Aundrea quit though. Aundrea has always struck me as the girl that just wanted to sing and put in the work, all the extra stuff she was never here for, and she reached a point in her life where she was just tired of it. She probably came to the conclusion that it shouldn't be this hard to sing.
@@damein5469 nope I got both girls one of those pics that come up. She looks exactly like carrie. Then when she sang with the guy and guitar she sounded like brit, and looked like her. I agree with u both.

Im mad Dawn was made out to be the problematic black girl...Im sure Aubrey felt privileged and dawn checked her, I wouldn’t hAve apologized for that it is wat it is
The fact that the Breakfast Club let Aubrey make those comments without checking her.... I would have been like "what do you mean by you ran out like the white girl you are? What does THAT mean?" And Aubrey not answering the question about them scheduling studio time behind Dawn's back but saying "I could have pressed charges." is some gaslighting. Seems like Aubrey and Diddy didn't get along because they're too much alike.
@@lilo638 the difference between white women and black women is that white women talk behind people's backs whereas black women are more upfront with you
The remarks made explain so much. When Dawn said he "Jedi mind tricks" people, it clicked that homeboy is a major narcissist and fluent in gaslighting the people around him
Shout out to Q in hey day, Q was fine and sexy!!!!!!!!!! When he was very young, fresh and a tenderoni. He's a very talented singer, dancer and songwriter.
cushe83 Right, all the receipts are there on all the relationship reality shows she did, esp Marriage Bootcamp w/Pauly D. She’s a lost emotional wreck doused in self-loathing and “pick me girl” tendencies. All of her distorting plastic surgery is the physical manifestation of that. It’s sad to see.
9:27 broke my heart. Aubrey was absolutely stunning the way she was. Every girl in that group was. It kills me when people feel they need to alter what God gave them FOR OTHER PEOPLE. You’re beautiful babe. ❤️
The industry did that to her. She didn't start out insecure but 20+ years of being told all your flaws does a mental scramble on a person. Look at Lil Kim
zombi05 A lot of people of other races do not like each other but when it comes to it they STILL stick together because they know that is the only way they will win!
My two cents: 1. Aundrea - Loved her and her vocals. She was the highlight of the group for me. I still can't get over the fact that she didn't give us at least a solo album :( 2. Aubrey - If she's not reuniting with them, she's doing everything she can to stay relevant. I loved her until I saw her on the Apprentice. For someone who allegedly was bullied in school, she sure did knew how to be mean and bully others! And it's ridiculous to hear her be all about women empowerment while she's transforming into a whole different person because of all the surgeries. Rant over, lol 3. Dawn - I like her first two projects and Bombs, but the rest was a bit too futuristic for me. I don't think her vocals can compare to Aundrea's. Like Shakira, Dawn has a specific voice that sometimes doesn't sound appealing to me at certain notes. 4. D Woods - She always rejected the reunion and is doing her independent music but I feel she's less of a known indie artist than Dawn? (I'm from Europe, so I can't get the best perspective of the US indie scene there) I think she needed the reunion the most, but okay. 5. Shannon - Love her! She's so humble, composed and kind. Always underrated and still sings the smallest parts.
I don't see sisterhood. They seem like opportunists who only come together when their backstabbing ways & solo careers backfire. Danity Kane is 1 big toxic relationship that never ends. It's like that ex that keeps leaving & dissing you, thinking the grass is greener, but then comes back with the fake tears, begging for a new chance. And like a doormat, the door & opportunities for more bs are welcomed right back in b/c neither has the sense to just LET...IT...GO! I think they've all betrayed in each other along the way, just in different ways. I didn't realize they'd broken up & gotten back together this many times. Now it makes sense why I've never sensed true sisterhood with them. I get chasing the bag & not letting personal drama stop business, but at some point, if there's no respect or true friendship as the foundation, it won't work & you have to cut your losses. Aubrey botching her face just confirmed how far those women will go for a bag, even at the expense of themselves. They wanna be a "thing" so bad that they were willing to sell their souls & throw away their authentic selves SMH
Aubrey is apparently a very toxic person, the fact that when she explains a dramatic situation between the group she tries to make herself look like the victim as for Dawn she admits her wrongs and takes accountability for them.
Typical white girl (not all of course) syndrome especially when its them verse a poc, they put that privelege into play they dont have according to them heavily then and make themselves the victim everytime
prboi1985 I didn’t say Dawn was innocent. I said “she can admit her wrongs and she takes accountability for them.” Aubrey will literally make everyone sound like the bad guy before she admits she was wrong too.
I feel so bad for Aundrea I feel like diddy always tried to bring her down and break her ever since the second season of making the band. I don’t blame her for wanting to quit and not wanting to be in that scenario anymore it’s like opening an old wound again and again
it's sad how many comments are calling her weak because she couldn't and decided not to deal with abusive and manipulative behavior.... is THAT the message ya'll want to send?
@@chanelinlouboutinI hear you; but she should have quit and stayed gone. All that going back and forth must have been frustrating for the other members and also detrimental to the group.

Dawn is the one who started mess, reported back to the heads with group business, she also created a troll account and spread rumors about her own band mates, and was violent with a group member and made excuses for her behavior.
Aundrea kept leaving. People were always surprised. I'm surprised that they kept being surprised 🤔

Facts
Unfortunately, I have to agree with you. I say unfortunately because it didn't have to be that way. They could've made it and been an example to so many young girls out there. Just because you're different doesn't mean you can't be friends or at least co-exist.
Bingo and that Mexican chick was more friends and trusted white before she realize the two black chicks were more supportive then then the two whites chicks. Dawn and d woods were just two blocks girls who pin against each other.
yup it was a reality TV SHOW LOL this aint no musical group LMFAO
GIRL you came through EMPRESSIVE
She always does.... Empressive is the best on the Web when it comes to being real and she's pleasant af! I love her... in like a friend/fan way.
Yessssss
She should do one for ... G.R.L. ... Little Mix and Fifth Harmony ... they each had one black girl in the group and I wanna know the back story behind those girls ... Leigh Anne, Normani and Simone.
Yassssss, with so much info you had to go through,I know tht took a lot time and energy and the edits were done very nicely.
!!!!
D. Woods never reunited with the group because she knew what time it was. She knew they wouldn't all be able to stay together like they did before they were broken up the first time. That's why she stayed making own her moves and didn't associate with Danity Kane.
Dragon's Muse honestly it’s the groups loss
Right her, drea and dawn are the voices of dk
I mean, if I found out one of my own group members was creating a hate campaign online for me, I’d want nothing to do with that group either. Especially since the group was being sabotaged by the label and not making much money.

Diddy does not need to relaunch making the band. He didnt do right by the first groups. He just wants money and the new group is going to end up broker than they were before.
I was so shocked when I saw the group member's wife from Day 26 was a stripper because they were so broke.
Are you talking about Willie's wife? He's the only one in the group that is married. And Day26 just toured several years ago. But I guess that money ran out already
Denotra Valentine They didn’t do right by him.
@@JWill951 I believe so. They were on some show a few years ago and I saw them talking about their struggles. I dont really follow the group.

RIGHT! Shannon was like " i wouldn't have ran"😆😆😆😆
Dirty Money was everything. I hate this coloristic world. And I never understood what people obsession with Aubrey was. No offense but her singing voice didn’t stick out to me
And she ugly
Aubrey was like Ginger Spice the least talented one but craves the attention
Ikr!!! Loved Dirty Money!
But we can’t act like Dirty Money was better than Danity Kane. I feel like Dirty Money was a bounce back for Diddy because he wanted to be a solo artist again and kept Dawn because he liked her vocals.
Say that.
Same thing Diddy said...
Odyssey Mack yeah that was pissing me off too about her
I feel like there was more to it
Bonita Chaquita I mean yeah getting fired on national television and being told that if they could do it over, she wouldn’t be picked. It probably took a toll on her
Shannon and Aubrey going on the breakfast club and paint Dawn as this...... they basically sold her as an angry black woman. Def didnt sit well with me
Jessica Garvin which is why I don’t see it ever working. They seem foul as hell. I can’t do it. Dawn took heat for everything
Jessica Garvin PERIOD, someone said it
But really, if someone puchnes you in the head would they not be classified as angry?
I THOUGHT it was just me m. THEN she talking about "home girl " .. Smmfh
Typical White girls
Thank you! Although I didn't like how she flaked on Aubrey it kind of proved what Puff Daddy said about her correct.
@@michaelmarsh3056 exactly it's easy to judge Andrea when we're not the ones that are in her position.
That’s actually a very valid point, I have biracial children and I refer to them as black..but I totally understand your point and I’ve never heard anyone explain it that way.❤️❤️
I bet you call Barack Obama black though. 🙄

FACT.
D. Wood's way of handling everything after getting kicked out by Diddy tells me she's the most respectable one.
Aubrey never answered Angela Yee’s question when she asked if she and Shannon were recording behind Dawn’s back which proves Dawn’s point.
Whew chile, she skirted all around that question. didn't even acknowledge it because she knew if she did the truth would have come to light.

Right
😆😆😆 okay. I was like girl, which is it. Cause sounds to me like this issue is they wouldn't work around your schedule.
King87 D Woods started her own label right after getting fired so she didn’t see herself going back to Narcisstic ass Diddy!!

Thank you for another quality video.✨
My two cents:
1. Aundrea - Loved her and her vocals. She was the highlight of the group for me. I still can't get over the fact that she didn't give us at least a solo album :(
2. Rant over, lol
A man is still married to a woman and you go out there doing press or whatever talking proudly of the things you do together!! 😑😑 Smh!!

He was lying to her. Let's not put that ALL on her. She was naive for sure tho.
Smh then make music like YOUR heart broken. He had a WIFE! A WIFE and KIDS! Even his sorry ass Daddy told him to get back to his wife 😆
Krys B yes i totally agree
As hard of a pill this is to swallow, this is the harsh reality...
Damn Aubrey just put it all out there girl, looking like a home wrecker.
CeCe W girl.... I swear she was talking like the man wasn’t married! 😒
Just shameless!
Knowing she had an affair with Trump Jr tells me everything I need to know about her.
Aubrey is apparently a very toxic person, the fact that when she explains a dramatic situation between the group she tries to make herself look like the victim as for Dawn she admits her wrongs and takes accountability for them.
Dawn ain't that innocent boo..and I love them both. They both to blame, just saying.
