Their first mistake off Tusk was releasing the title track as the first single and not this one. I came to this realisation after I listened to the album when it first came out.
This has always been one of my favorite Rock songs of all time, not just of FM's. As a guitarist and drummer, as well as a softy for love-sick rhymes; for me, it's the perfect blend of straight-ahead Rock and sentimental poetry. I would've LOVED hearing a more pronounced & lengthy solo by LB!
Dear Beautiful Sweet Christine Anne Perfekt McVie 💕💕🙏🙏❤️❤️ Love this & All Your Beautiful Muzik ! Love You Beautiful Sweet Songbird ❤️❤️🙏🙏 You will live on thru your beautiful awesome sweet peaceful muzik ! God bless All that loved Her ❤️❤️🙏🙏🌸🏵️🌺💐🌼🍀💛❤️💙💚🇺🇸🇩🇪
I always felt that Christine was actually under appreciated as a songwriter and like this her songs always transferred perfectly to the live performance, in this case with a nice tasty solo from Lindsey.
She was the best songwriter, but she also depended heavily on Buckingham's arrangements and production. He transformed her songs--as he did Nicks' ones too.
This song reached about number 20 on the charts but it would have been at least a top ten hit if they had chosen it for the first single off the album and not the title track. I bet LB had something to do with it.
it's amazing how Christine mcvie downplays one of the best pop/rock songs she ever recorded that just happened to be on tusk. everyone knows tusk was controlled majorly by Lindsey Buckingham. think about me did break the top forty however at I think #33 in the US. had it been on the album Rumours it would surely have been a top ten single.😎 peace Ricky Parker.
Saw Mac in Munich, Germany in 1977, perhaps 78, and Nicks was obviously wasted during the concert, even forgetting the lyrics to several songs, causing the band to stop playing and remaining silent after she said "This never happens." It was kinda sad to watch.
Ain't a one of us doesn't have moments we'd like to take back, right? I certainly have my share - AND, alcoholism and addiction are most definitely NOT the fault of the person suffering from them. Both have been categorized as mental-illnesses by the American Medical Association, since 1957. I promise you, no one judges themselves more harshly than do addicts. We do not need your help. We're well aware of the harm we've caused, and have paid a very steep price for it, in ways most folks never even think of. Many of us, just like Stevie, have come out the other side and completely transformed our lives. She's a very talented artist who has influenced many other artists. She almost certainly wouldn't have founded her non-profit organization that helps military personnel, had she not suffered the hell of addiction and learned some very hard lessons from it. She's the model of what we're capable of once we recover. To cast judgment on her, for having a legitimate sickness of the mind and body, is just plain cruel. May no one ever condemn you, should you ever fall prey to such misery.

It may not have made the top 10 but it is one of my favorites from Fleetwood Mac.
It peaked at #20…GREAT song!
I bought the single!

RIP THE QUEEN CHRISTINE!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!
Definitely.
I’m amazed how she looks so great for her age! Still performs and sings. So glad she came back!
she looked 60 in 1970 and she looks 60 now.
One of my favorite Mac tunes.
I miss you...

Right On.
Love the song. Only thing missing is Lindsey's "Baby once in awhile" at the end of the song.
These guys are in their 70's and those voices and harmonies. WOW
Stevie and Lindsey were in their late 60s here, though Christine had just turned 70 a few months prior.
I always felt that Christine was actually under appreciated as a songwriter and like this her songs always transferred perfectly to the live performance, in this case with a nice tasty solo from Lindsey.
She is the cake' Stevie is the icing and Lindsey is the glue!

love this song..
R.I.P. Christine.
Fantastic!!! 👍

Ricky Parker It's a good song, but not the caliber of Rumors' best songs imo.
I think it made it into the top 20 in the US.
She’s singing well- better than on other live versions 👍. Rick Turner guitar....god it cuts through so well 😀😀😀
brilliant!
The song is dragging. They slowed it down.
Sound a bit rough here, off key
I love them, but they don't sound that good without Stevie's third part harmony.
She's singing, but there's something amiss with the levels.
Jeez, what do you have to do to please this lame crowd. I would have went bananas if the did “think about me” when i saw them.
Stevie Nicks ruins Fleetwod Mac.
