Cáncer woman here and we love food too. I’m married to a Taurus man so it’s literally the best, we both appreciate food exactly the same. I’m more the food snob, I love quality and want the BEST only 😂 It’s why I love also following you! You get it.
I have always been stuck between loving food because it’s amazing and the mentality of “food should only fuel you and that’s it!” I loved this video! You perfectly articulated what so many people go through when it comes to diet. Loved your story and am inspired by it!
In 2020 lockdown, because I had zero pressure to leave my house and go see other humans, I decided to start cooking my home meals with intent. Just to feed myself nutrient-dense food and just be more aware of what I put in my body.. I would eat crap when I wanted to eat crap, but I wouldn't go on a bender like I would in the past.. I just started casually incorporating it into my daily life, and with no actual emphasis on weight loss, or any type of goal other than to just feel better, and I lost more weight that I ever had in my life... I had been on more serious strict diets in the past that did not provide the results that I had with my "casual/no pressure" diet. It's very strange!
My mom who is 63 years old really loves food 🍱 but she is diabetic and has a host of physical and mental health problems due to her obsession with food 🍲. I decided I don’t want to go down that path and I’m 40 years old turning 41 this year.

I REALLY needed to hear this. Same page now and have to make a drastic change due to health issues. Thank you for understanding. ❤
