- Ragnarok vs GuMiho in a best-of-5 series of StarCraft 2. This series is the finals of the Korean StarCraft League 22 (the KSL). In these SC2 games GuMiho decides to go for some of the craziest build orders I've seen the man play ever. One base Battlecruisers, two base Thor and of course loads of proxy Barracks.

Thanks to MULE, I spend less resources on SCV and only have 1 type of mechanic shield-up, so there is a lot of resource benefit
The scanning range is also very wide.
Blizzard have to block the Battle Cruiser for 5 seconds from using the Yamato Cannon and Tactical Jump
LIBERATOR & Ghost Sniper so OOOOOOPPPPPP.
On the other hand, Protoss & Zerg need to invest more in ground and air defense upgrades respectively
Even Zerg & Protoss' defense towers cannot recover resources, but Terran has another resource benefit with the bunker recovery function
In terms of resources, Protoss & Zerg are at a huge disadvantage overall
The zerg is still garbage
INFESTOR skill Deleted but Ghost skill always non Deleted!!!!WTH!
Zerg units are expensive to upgrade and take a long time to complete
The tech building is also expensive, but you have to invest 50 more minerals called drones there and pay 50 minerals again to produce the lost drone

The Widow Mine is fucking stupid. If ever there was a definition of "OP" it's that.
I once had 42 3-3 Mutas and a Widow Mine went off. Lost 18 of them immediately. Not much more luck with 3-3-3 Carriers either.

I love GuMiho’s Terran, it’s not as clean as Maru’s or agro as Byun but it always brings a smile seeing his BC and mech shenanigans

The last game is such a sick prediction on Gumi's part, holy shit.
Maru and Clem may be the best when it comes to Terran execution, but watching GuMiho cook is always a great time.

Hopefully I’m not out of line, but I think it would be cool if you showed us a video from the perspective of just one player. With your excellent play-by-play, I think it would be super interesting to hear your explanations about why a player makes the decisions they do given their limited vision of the map and the scouting they perform.
Perhaps it would be less entertaining and maybe I’m the only one who would be interested in seeing this, but watching your videos and listening to what you have to say helps my understanding of the game and helps me make my own in-game decisions (even if they are slow and irrational 😅). Keep doing what you do!

from some of the Gumiho replays you've casted lately it does seem like Gumiho is pushing himself to improve his micro. He is so creative and strategic. The only thing that has been holding him back from being on the same level or one day maybe even better than Maru or Byun.
uthermal makes so many cheeses mainly for terran but i would like for u to cast the zerg cheese

Think terran and protos got waymore cheese available then zerg i think they are just more flexible with unit comp
uThermal has some zerg cheese videos too and I hate to say it, but he's got a higher skill level than Lowko so even his off race videos are high level.

I've stopped playing StarCraft II. I'm in Plat and every single match at that level or below is either a) mass air or b) a stupid T1 all-in to prevent mass air from happening. There is no real skill and it's just expanding and steamrolling. It's boring, it is so repetitive and has become insufferable. Ladder is also full of boosters, morons (people who are somehow Masters yet lose to Silver) and griefers on new accounts ("Bronze" but wiping out a Diamond like it's nothing).
Respect to you still playing this game. Blizzard don't even bother phoning it in anymore and word is that corporate don't want to do StarCraft III.

-My cheese gets spotted right away
-I'm behind the entire game
-Single base only against 2 base zerg building a third
Still comes out with the victory...
That victory took a massive gamble, stellar micro and perfect timing.
If he attacked a round of zerg production later he would have lost.
If he took just a little more damage on the thors he would have lost.
If he didn't take the gamble on muta play he would have lost.
If he got the gamble wrong he would have lost.
Complaining about balancing in a game won with absolutely zero margin is quite silly, don't you think?

Is there any reason they don't go after depots, overlords, pylons to supply block the opponent? Is that against the rules?
There's no rules against it, and they often do go after overlords if they can. It's just that often times it's more valuable to kill production or workers than supply structures.
People just start up additional the instant they realize they are going to lose it so normally it doesn’t supply block them that much
Just killing some minerals
There is a bigger focus on supply blocking - specifically zerg- in SC1 because it disrupts them more than in SC2.

@lowkotv I love your content but please... Please... Please stop saying, "yeah mules are great but the down side is they mine out the mineral fields too fast." From literally any logical perspective that is not a bad thing... You are getting the same amount of minerals from the fields, just faster. That is 100% a good thing. There is no down side to that ... If you got less but faster there would be a trade off worth mentioning... But a 1000 mineral , mineral field will give you 1000 minerals no matter what. Getting them faster is 100% a better thing with no down side. It's actually better. Not only do you get the minerals faster to spend when you need them but the bases mine out faster which means you need to spend less time defending them. Please. Please. Stop saying that is a bad thing. It breaks my brain.
