Making a Marnie Halloweentown Costume for Oogie Boogie Bash + OBB Recap & Review

- I have loved the Halloweentown movies ever since they came out when I was a kid, so I knew I had to make a Marnie costume for Oogie Boogie Bash! I made Marnie's iconic outfit from the first Halloweentown movie, which was a true labor of love! This was my first time attending Oogie Boogie Bash at Disneyland (getting tickets was no easy feat!). While I had a good time, I definitely didn't think the party was worth the money, and I'd rather spend the same amount and be able to spend a full day in the parks. But Ernest de la Cruz was AMAZING and the absolute highlight of the night.

Thank you for your honest review 👍🏽👍🏽
You did awesome!! I can't believe you made it! It is spot on. Halloweentown I & II are my FAVORITE Halloween movies. I admit that I too watch them both every year. LOL
Such a good job! Definitely recognizable!
Your costume turned out amazing! Great job ❤
I absolutely love your Marnie costume! As a kid, I always wanted this one and her witch costume from the second movie lol you did a wonderful job! I appreciate your honest review of OBB, I've had FOMO for years because Disney UA-camrs only ever have good things to say about the entire event so it's nice to finally have an unfiltered review. Thanks for another great video, Emily, and Happy Halloween! :)
I love niche costumes! This is awesome! Great job! ❤
Just watched Halloweentown tonight with my husband (his first time seeing it lol) and it just puts me in the Halloween mood! I love it
Wow!! Amazing job. This movie was a fave of mine growing up too and you nailed this!
Happy Birthday Emily glad ur heading back to park
You are amazing and now getting to enjoy more Disney time.
and then there is the darker side of Disney. long lines, rides that are down, and the crowds. I still love it.
your costume looks so fantastic!!! kimberly j. brown is so great and i love halloweentown so much :')
Love it 😍🧡💜
You did a great job on your costume! Spot on about the treat trails! We did Syd, 35 minute wait and so not worth it. So much better to walk by and enjoy the park. It was our first time at OB bash and probably our last unless like you said they add different events!
It was fun to get to do once, but definitely felt like a one-and-done event
I love how DL people are like anything over 25 mins is too long a line. But WDW people are regularly waiting in lines an hour long. I’ve been to both and it just speaks to how different the vibe is. We were in DL a couple of weeks ago and didn’t do OOB. After this I’m kind of glad I didn’t.
I only won’t wait that long for DCA’s Little Mermaid, lol! (The Magic Kingdom version at least has a nice queue!)
My cousin is a DL Magic Key holder and he refuses to get in a line if the posted wait time is more than 20-25 mins. Lol. Personally I loved the relaxed vibe of DL/DCA. It just might be my new favorite of the domestic parks. I haven’t been to any overseas……yet!
So you haven't been on Haunted Mansion Holiday yet? You're in for a treat. 💀🎃🎄
I got to ride it a few times last year on our Halloween trip!
Emily, did you have any good snacks at Oogie Boogie? I’m going with my gluten free friend in 2 weeks and I want to steer her to the good stuff!!
Unfortunately no, most of the fun seasonal snacks aren’t GF (just enjoyed the candy that was GF from the treat trails!)
@@MagicallyEmily thanks!!
