I’m a screenwriter. Randall is not an A-list (or B, C list) producer and if Lala met him when she was a few years older, she would have easily known this. Sure he worked w Scorsese bc he found him a boatload of money but that’s likely where his “creativity” ended w the legendary director. Rumor is that Turtle on Entourage was modeled after Randall. I don’t know anyone working in TV or Film who has ever worked w him. He is not on the roster of producers that an agent or manager would send a writer’s script to. My take is that he makes D-list, schlocky movies that he sells internationally, lives well over his means, and plays in the seedier side of Hollywood (Elmore Leonard territory).
And for good-looking young women, I agree w Heather. These Brett Ratner types are the worst to date. They’ve been rejected by women all their lives and when they finally get some money and power, where do you think this resentment goes? Right back to you.

Nailed it. I’ve also watched how Randall has been… kind of an imposter and the guy is just goofy and somewhat absent, I don’t believe he’s really important and certainly not respected because he gave his lead roles all to Lala when they got together. Even if she’s a good actor (I believe she is decent) that’s bad practice no matter who you are and any producer would lose some credibility for doing that. That’s what gave away his lack of status… also, his obsession with gambling/competition etc and blasting it on tv.
Just need to look at the troll Harvey Weinstein to know this is a true statement - although Harvey the Oger was successful no one had ever heard of Randall until he started dating Lala. I hope Lala gets her some Fofty :)
Some of these movies are made by producers who have no experience in making movies. The movies are made for producers to launder the money and not pay taxes. Often they cheat the non-union crew by underpaying wages, and 16 hour workdays/7 days a week. Look at Baldwin’s movie: producers made fun of the crew. Designed a Tshirt mocking crew members for protesting that they had to lodge in Albuquerque instead of promised Santa Fe, resulting in hour longer driving after long hours.

I always wanted a nose job since I was super young and when I was 21 I got a nose job consultation and they digitally changed my nose, showed me the before and after, and I liked the before better!! Now I feel much better about my nose, it'll never be a feature I love but I'm okay with it. What makes you different makes you more endearing towards others.

Just like our faces... teeth make people unique, and it's weird to see everyone trying to mimic the same snow white smile with teeth that are all the same size. Madison from Southern charm, and Carl from Summer House are good examples of this.
Although I don't think it's nice to criticize them in the way some people have on social media.. I do agree that both of them looked much different/better with their original smiles.

That's confusing, how authentic and real she's become??? Sure I guess, at the beginning she was more like a thot..... even when in the beginning with her and Randall she said if she lost him no big deal she would just have to get down on her knees again, referring to getting another jet. When La La said her intuition/doubts about Randall kicked in after she had Ocean I think it's total BS. After giving birth she had an Anchor baby & financial security for the next 18 years & was ready to move on to greener pastures. She was looking for any opportunity to leave which Randall gave her.
Yes Tracy totally. He was married with 2 young daughters and his ex wife was gorgeous. As soon as Randall ran out of money bc he couldn’t make movies for 2 years bc of Covid and had to pay for his first family, Lala was gone. I wouldn’t be surprised if Randall made it big again, she would go back. She loved him until he was broke and moved on.

They both changed and both did not like the new/more honest versions of themselves. She was into racier sex stuff when drunk and he presented as a $u$$e$ful businessman with a PJ (private jet). When she got sober and he lost his $, they both didn't have what attracted them, to begin with.

Love this interview! It is so true about dating and marrying a so-so man with no appeal whatsoever is safe for me! My ex did not like me after our children came along because I paid more attention to them than I did him. The last year we were together I tried my hardest to give him the attention he demanded, even at my son's expense and I regret it terribly, but it was still not enough. He still found reasons to rage and tell me I'm not enough and I'm a horrible partner. I'll never get that time back with my children and I regret it so so much.
I feel Lala did the best thing for her and Ocean's bond in the long run. Randall would've always found a reason to wander, imo.

Yes, Carrie was always insufferable! She was nuerotic and self-absorbed.I always hated how she would create a narrative in her head about whatever guy should say and do, and when unbeknownst to him, he didn’t live up to her narrative, she would then pitch a fit and blame him fir some such thing. Never related to Carrie, she was always too needy.
