Great presentation 😊 I really enjoyed your sailing. This setup was already tested on my dinghy Phi^Phi and two CC sails - works fantastic 😊 Sail safe 😊😊😊
Same, but works fine. The thrust vector of the Gennaker is supposed to point up, therefore no problem with pitch. We are now busy to figure out how both sails work together best. If you look closely you can see the Gennaker was hoisted in two different modes.
Topspeed is 13.something kn right now, double digits show up on the meter frequently (see some of the other viceos). There is a (quite outdated) section about performance on www.proas.is. The genacker is just 6 sqm, not particular large. However it is difficult to adjust correctly. The video was the first test without proper tackles for the sheet in place yet.
@@markthomasson5077 usually completely dry, only some spray at the bow. We are still figuring out how to set the Gennaker together with the main. We didn't made it for the boat so we have to work with it somehow. If the luff is much tighter the gap between main and Genny is very small.
!!!!!! il est vraiment superbe ton Proasis et navigue a merveille !!!! Merci pour ces belles images ...
Merci!

Glad you enjoyed it!
Sometime within the next year or so, I would love to get you guys a kite winch so you can kite sail. Much more power.
Sure, happy to try!
First time I see such a setup. it does not seem to cause more pitch down. Looks promising.

Nice. What speeds do you get?
Does look like the genny is a bit big? A short bow sprit perhaps?

@@proasisproject great speed…is it a bit wet!
Just looks like the luff is too lose?
