Interestingly, the world only condemns Trump intending to place tariffs onto China, but no one seems to criticize China on placing tariffs and trade barriers practically on all imported goods and services into China. Fair trade and win-win?
Glad that many multinationals have exited China for good and moved the majority of their operations to South East Asia. Wish that ASEAN nations would not be easily conned by China’s fake investments here
He won't reply. Besides US needs to realise it's the people that pay for it not governments. As far as I know US has to pay extra for those 600k parcels a day from temu and shien alone going into US. You can't say theres no demand for chinese goods lol.
China has been preparing for such escalation: increase trade with ASEAN, as well as Africa/South America; in addition, strengthen Dual Circulation (the stimulus package recently announced serves this purpose). Chinese goods toward the US is a win-win: without it, inflation in America will be stubbornly high. The US will need to spend more for the same amount of goods, making national debts only increase (currently 35000 billion dollars).
