Growin' up in the '70's and '80's with the greatest rock bands of all time was a GIFT!!! Music today just sux by comparison. It's nice to know that the younger generations recognize the greatness of the music from the past.

Honey I’m 72 years old and I remember the first time I heard these songs. My teens and twenties. It was an amazing time to be alive. You could get a concert ticket for $7.50!! I saw a lot of shows in Portland Oregon. The first live concert I ever went to was Sonny and Cher in 1971 😎. Journey will never die! Legends!! 💜👵🏼✌🏼
Notice no pyrotechnics or dancers or fancy lighting, just pure raw talent! 😎

Neil shines on the guitar, love how everyone in the band gets a time to shine during different songs. Jonathan Cain is insane at the end of the live Mother Father

I went to high school with Steve Perry. He was a senior, I was a freshman and he didn't know I was alive! He really was, and is, "the voice"!

Good music is timeless. For example, check out Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers. Unbelievable!!!!!! To this day one of the best vocal performances.

My favorite bands are Journey and Led Zeppelin. You would love Steve Perry. He is the sweetest Megastar I have ever met. He’s humble, does not think he’s a big deal, funny as hell! He had me cracking up. And the man absolutely loves all of us fans. I have been a Perry girl since 1977/78 and I will be a Perry girl til the day I die. I was fortunate to meet Steve back in 2019 at a private fundraising event. Let me tell you that was the cherry on top of the cherry of my ice cream sundae bucket list. He also sang a little for us as he was telling us a story about one of his songs and when we all started singing with him, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room, including his. he was extremely touched by our love and affection for him. I wish everybody could meet Steve it’s a life altering game changer. I was blessed to have had a meet and greet/photo op and a half hour conversation with him. The proof is my profile picture. This girl loves her Steve Perry.❤ Even today it is still the best day ever!!!😎

Freddie Mercury is the singer who sings We will rock you from "Queen" He also died of aids in the early 80's
Ozzy Osbourne's Night Train track is another song I hear in different sound tracks. Check that out. He's got a lot of great songs.
    Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👍

    • @ajruther67
      @ajruther67 8 місяців тому

Freddie died from complications from AIDS as he had pneumonia and he died November 24, 1991. He wrote a press release the day before he died as he knew the end was near.
He wasn't even diagnosed with AIDS until 1987. If he had died in the early 80's, Queen wouldn't have performed at Live Aid July 1985.

Better to remain silent and let the song play through. Then play it again with your comments.

This is the best kind of musical performances you can ever see. Back then, musicians needed real talent. everything was done manually. no auto tune or extra electronics to help you sound better... If everybody on stage stopped moving, the music would completely stop. And its live so you only get one shot at it.

Subscribed. Great performance and reaction! Old school rocks, but if you would like to explore more and expand your channel, may I suggest a reaction to BABYMETAL. Their music has a positive and uplifting message. They have a fun and awesome performance:
BABYMETAL - PA PA YA!! (feat. F.HERO) (OFFICIAL)
    Or:
    MAYA【Live Blu-ray/DVD「BABYMETAL BEGINS - THE OTHER ONE -」"BLACK NIGHT"】
Or to showcase the lead singer’s amazing voice:
    BABYMETAL - Monochrome - Piano ver. / THE FIRST TAKE 🖖 ❤
