My low budget build is a PSA lower (blem) for 129.00. BCA Cold Hammer forged 300 blackout upper I caught on sale for 219, with the side charging option. Added a brace for 69.95. And got a SIG Romeo on sale for 69.95. Im in for under 500 with optic.
more money for ammo!

@@didamnesia3575 Works fine for me. A .300 blackout is a 100 yd gun. And Im 2 MOA with this setup. I can take down any game in the woods of Tennessee I want to with it. Shot two hogs last week. So tell me again why I need a more expensive optic. If I wanted to, I could have spent a grand on an optic. But I didnt need to.
@spikymikie I'm not saying the optic is the wrong style for what you need. I have plenty of bare bones red dots, and I agree with you, use what you need. My point is that I wish you had bought a better quality optic that might (who knows) last longer is generally built more durable. That's all. But I don't think you need an aim point or anything like that. My friends have had bad experiences with the Romeo series, and less problems with holosun (as a budget optio )
@@didamnesia3575 Maybe thats what you should have said to begin with. If this was intended for rough use, ie combat, I would have spent way more. But for the budget build when I threw this together two years ago, its been great. Ive had no problems with it. Holds zero great. Ive re-zero'd it one time to allow for the drop when I went to subsonic ammo and a can. Its like shooting a CO2 pellet rifle now.
Palmetto state armory is pretty awesome for the price.
Lead Star lower, free shipping with Hiperfire trigger pre installed, and PSA no BCG upper, added a NiBo Toocraft BCG and KMtactical charging handle . Bam. Added a 1-6 and metal BUIS. Under $1000, and it just runs.
I got a radical arms for $600. Put 270 rounds through it already with no malfunctions. Can't complain.

$700 .....Another 300 you can get the Geissele URGI upper ( while on sale) with whatever lower you want then you have a premium rifle for a couple hundred more $$$. But PSA it in my safe also

I remember when CMMG first came out all my friends gave me crap about getting one and liking them. Years later they all bought CMMG thinking how good they are. PSA is basically the same story. Talk shit and years later start buying them and say they are pretty nice. After you watch Grandthumbs PSA video and realize 90% of people aren't getting to 5000-6000 rounds on one single platform it's a buy. You can buy 5 or Ten PSA'S set them up all the same and keep the round counts low on all of them.
Or just swap to a little nicer barrel. Easy easy. Not super expensive.
I love psa, not just the product but their customer service has been great in my experience. I had a gas tube rattle loose around 1,000 rds emailed them and they sent a brand new gas block / tube.. just last week I had a problem with their premium charging handle, I emailed them and they sent me a radian raptor for free :) absolutely love psa

I bought an American tactical. Changes the lower and have had great success with it. Way under 700. Maybe 700 with new lower.
I picked up one off these to try out. Between it coming with a huxwrx muzzle device that retails for over 100 buckd and were hard to find in stockbwhen i bought it, the fact that its pinned and welded which as you said would prpbably be 100 bucks or more, and the radian raptor charging handle thats what 275ish of added value at least. Oh and the adjustable gas block. Seemed worth trying with those added features for 499. I just wish i knew it was carbine length gas system. at the time is wqs mislabeled as mid length. Not the end of the world though
IWI ZION 15 best AR under $700 got mine for $675 with a radian raptor included at no cost at LGS

Ik some people say hate Psa and some praise them, but for $700 I’d recommend a aero upper (on sale for 300-500$ without forward assist) and a aero lower. At least that gets you into something more quality.
Are you aware that JJE that owns PSA also machines Aero lowers? it is all marketing hype. proof that people are hung up on brand names due to marketing and association with their own need for justification and peer pressure. But hey, spend your money how ever you want.

@@ubpushinda5ie560 Ok I just saw this where you added BCM, I would definitely pick BCM over Arrow or PSA (if it was in the Budget). I thought Arrow had some QC problems I believe it was the beginning of last year and I haven't heard of they got that straight yet. I have a Arrow BCG I bought for my Daughter, it's been good to go so far. She has a Diamondback 300 B.O with a 12.5 Barrel that finally broke the Bolt at 7,800 rounds, all Suppressed Shooting with Subs and Supers. These damned SBR's are tough on Bolts, Diamondback makes some friggin sleeper AR's!!! If you look at the Specs for them and read about how they do 75% of all there stuff in-house they are or they were offering some damned fine little AR's. My Daughter has over 10,000 rounds on hers. I just now shot over 8,800 rounds through one of my DB15's over the weekend. We have a little of everything, from Noveske, Knights, BCM, Diamondbacks, S&W, and some Frankenstein AR's. Our Friends PSA's are running good as well.
