In stream you could see Daigo smiling because he was being pushed back by Ryu, remarking that this is the strongest Ryu has been in 30 years with a smile on his face
@@PetterNe well everyone in SF6 is way stronger in general, due to drive rush everyone now has Juri dash speed as well as a stronger version of focus, EX moves are way easier to shoot off thanks to the drive system which charges up way faster compared to the classic ex bar that 4 had. Not to mention character specific upgrades and enhanced features, Ryu really didn’t get much at launch but the new buffs really gave him the edge he needed, Luke is the basic Shoto, Ken is the aggressive charger, Akuma is a swiss army knife made of glass and Ryu is now the gorilla of shotos
The last two matches really shows the difference between pros and high ranked players. The first game daigo got caught off guard but used it to download the Ryu and won the next two by taking advantage of mircro mistakes that lead to bigger mistakes by the last game. The second game round 1 he played it so patient with the fireballs cuz he noticed that the previous game Ryu didn't fire back or jumped much but then when the Ryu did fire back he countered with ex hadouken and played safe with the life lead which made the Ryu play a little desperate to get opened up the same way again. Round 2 Naruo used a random od hadouken to beat daigo's, this is the second mirco mistake. Daigo did not let up the fireballs and Naruo couldn't regenerate meter, he was too scared to throw fireballs because of what happened at round 1 but when he did throw fireballs again ex hadouken burnt him out leading to his loss. Game 3 is when everything ultimately collapsed when naruo made more mistakes and did not punish daigo for usually drive rush cancel because he got too scared to throw fireballs. But still to think all that because of a strong frieball pressure and well placed ex fireballs. Akuma plays more like Ryu than Ryu.
High level challenges are very technical hence why they spam fire balls to measure the range between their opponent and force one to make a mistake . It’s called strategy in case you didn’t know

In 30 years meaning since Alpha, I think?
Not only that but the character is also looking soooooo different too. The movesets and everything Ryu is really different now and I love it
That is the attitude you seldom see. A master of his craft who welcomes a fresh challenge. 👏🏾
Um, stronger than Vanilla IV Ryu who was nerfed considerably? That sounds… unbalanced.

Capcom: Akuma has a very large toolkit.
Daigo *picks up a single screwdriver and goes to war*
And then when you get nice and comfy with the screwdriver, that's when he smacks you upside the head with the wrench.
And a serious thyroid condition, apparently...

0:17 …that corner pressure and drive gauge depletion from Ryu feels pretty scary this time around.
It is uncanny how Daigo can download the enemy and then just goes to work.
If Ryu had been able to possess Gouki's Hadouken, we could have expected the legend to return.
A real dog figth.. awesome..!! Hope to see ( AKUMA RANK 1 ) VS (RYU RANK 1) so impresed
DAIGO is pumping WINS against top Players since maining Aluma.
That read was awesome, 2:35
my toxic manager in the past looks like Ryu, all thick mustache on his face
daigo looks like toying with this ryu when he out of stamina
Akuma be like, " You still can't hadouken in the air?" Lol
is it just me or daigo's akuma is the least aggressive akuma among the top players?
So would you say he plays Akuma more like his Ryu?
I don’t blame naruo for switching to Ryu , his Jamie is a beast but god does this match up suck so bad for Jamie
Came to check SF6 to find out even the best SF players in the world are spamming hadoukens. I'm going back to MK.
It’s not spamming like how subzero can spam ice balls for “advantage” is the same thing
@@ELKEVEN771bees do not waste their time explaining to flys that honey taste better than shit, so leave him alone to eat shit his whole life

Daigo 💪🏻👍🏼

I find the hadouken spam stupid ..
What else are they supposed to do from that range
Re cualquiera ese akuma se parece a blanca
This is so slow and boring to watch... Going back to old school sf...

So boring to see hadoukens and blocks all the time...
That's all you see, so you're boring.
@@hugodomingo3765 ok champion
For the average sf player sure but when u get better and understand the game more you’ll see why it’s high level stuff
@@iroh6730 boring then...
S tier vs B tier
Don't be fooled, Ryu is a very good character this patch.
Ryu is probably high A now
Ryu is A tier now
This really maximum skill match bro 😲
one of the gayest match I've ever seen.
You couldn't hold a candle to them.
Hadouken game ewww
You're an example of ignorant people having nothing intelligent to say.
This Ryu SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sure
Way better than jimmy
