Toddler Medicine tips: Best tips for giving Medicine

It’s never an easy tasks giving a toddler or infant medicine. In fact, it can be extremely challenging and you finally come to the realization that it now becomes a game. Here are some helpful tips I use when I give medicine to Eddie Jr.
Step 1: Be sure to use a plastic syringe or medicine dropper.
Step 2: Try you best to position your child sitting up.
Step 3: Place the syringe past the teeth.
Step 4: Slowly drip the medicine onto the back of the tongue. (Side note: Be sure to give your child liquids to wash down the medicine
Step 5: Don’t forget to celebrate by doing a happy dance!

I mix mine up with a strawberry yogurt cup. My nearly 3 year old will scrape the damn bowl clean eating it all, otherwise it's a total battle and none stays in her mouth. Won't always work though if she isn't in the mood for yogurt, which isn't often.
