Tomorrow is not promised for any of us, whether we've had cancer or some other illness or not. We all need to find the positives and blessings in each day. I'm continuing to pray for your continued restored health!
My son was 7 when he was diagnosed with a bone cancer (outside of his bone). He just turned NINE a few days ago. Thank GOD! He is 15 months off of chemo and is still in remission. This video brings back so so so many memories. It's guilt for the families that lost their children. It's frustration with myself for still having bad days from time to time. It's fear of that will show up on the next scan. (He gets scans every 3 months). It is joy that I get to kiss his sweet fave about 500 times a day but its also sorrow. Thanks for letting is follow along with you- It helped me not feel so alone.

I’m currently battling colon cancer and what you said about taking your kids to the park and stuff…that hit me because I’ve been feeling all this guilt of what I’m missing. I have lots of help with my 4 and 6 year old and I appreciate it but I’m used to doing it by myself and I miss doing it by myself. Congratulations!!!

God bless you, Vanessa. My hubby is a stage 4 cancer survivor (27 years now!). He was only 30 and our son was 12 months old when he went into Sloan Kettering for a 4 month stay, lots of chemo, many operations, and 2 back-to-back bone marrow transplants. He never relapsed and we are grateful to God and the wonderful medical pros that God used as His tools.
You are beautiful inside out. Thank you for sharing your journey. You have a supportive husband, beautiful children, and -- a relationship with Jesus. I'm glad to hear that you never lost your faith. Congratulations on your remission. May it become nothing more than a bad dream / vague memory. XO

I'm so happy that you are in remission. When I finished chemo for the first time, I dealt with my survivor's guilt by making sure I tried to live my best life and not waste it, in honor of the others that don't get the chance. Good is good!

Congrats! And I get the survivors guilt. I'm dealing with it and it's been 5 months since my surgery where I had the last of my cancer removed. It's hard dealing with it. I thought I'd feel differently but now I'm dealing with the emotional trauma of going through cancer. It's hard. I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and unlike all of my other stage 4 friends, I responded well to chemo and was able to have all my cancer removed and my colostomy reversed. I was told that cancer will bring blessings. I didn't see it at first, but now I do. I appreciate every single thing. Good and bad because I'm here. You're here. I'm so happy for you and your family!
Stage 4 soft tissue cancer. I pray that I thrive like you do. I have not let cancer take over my life at all. Most days i forget I’m sick because I don’t feel or look sick. I hope my insides respond the same way.
@@moonspirit2119 On the weeks I wasn't on chemo, I didn't feel like I had cancer either. It's so strange. I'll be thinking of you and crossing my fingers and toes and sending you all the healing vibes I have. Not letting cancer take over is the best thing you can do for yourself and your spirit. I think our attitudes matter when it comes to fighting cancer.

Congratulations 💞🙏. Thank you Jesus. Your video has touched me. My brother in-law was diagnosed with Colon Cancer Stage 4 Metastisized in April 2021 and on his last day of chemo September 17th, he was told they can't do any more chemo for him because the cancer has spread everywhere. He was also told he has 2 weeks to 2 months to live. As of today, he is in hospice and we were told last Sunday he is what they call transition. Because how quickly he has deteriorated, they suspect he has 1 week or so left. We are so broken hearted 💔😪. You are absolutely right when you say not everyone gets good news or ring the last day chemo bell. Yes, live your precious life to the fullest because life is to short. God bless you and your precious family 🙏🤗💕.

I am currently on dialysis at 35 yrs old due to my lupus and I am praying to get a kidney transplant soon so I can stop having to be on a machine. I felt exactly the same when I was told I was in remission. It's such a mix of emotions and I think when you're going through it you're so focused on getting through it you push all the other emotions to one side and they all come up afterwards. So pleased for you 💪
