I've always loved the Moment of Nature segment. So much of television is frenetic and given to quick cuts and random, excessive sound. These are the complete opposite: calm, measured and reflective.
I spent all my summers until I was 18, and in Nursing School, in Divine Corners, at our family's old "summer home." I love riding my Harley on the same country roads that I learned to drive a car on when I wS 16! I had hoped to ride up there this past summer, but circumstances prevented me from going this year! LOVE seeing the "Fall Foliage" video! It truly IS "God's Country!"
I used to live up there Been living in Alanta 12 years. After seeing this video I truly miss the Catskill Mountains .I used to go to Ride my ATV every weekend Through the mountains I really miss it.
I grew up in Hancock. Delaware county. I live in Jordanville now but as soon as I find a small piece of property in Delaware County I will move south about 40 miles.
Growing up in the heart of the Catskills, you come to learn how truly magical these ancient mountains are.

Catskill Mountains reminds me of a fairytale I once read in a storybook, the headless horseman...
Does anyone know the name of the waterfall in this video (1:00)? Thank you.
Geo Cube is it Kaaterskill Falls?
@@Greatpics222 Yes indeed. Every year several fools back up over it trying to take a selfie.
It's the Falls of Lake Minnewaska, NY.
I'd recognize them anywhere.
I agree with you Brian
