    Roughly from what I remember of the hadiths from my teacher.
    1. The difference in opinion between my ulamas is a blessing for you.
    You can observe this blessing in the performing of Haj. If everybody were to follow the same hukum, it will be chaotic if all of the hajis were to move at the same time.
    2. If it come to you two hukums, one is easy and the other is difficult, choose the easy one.
    Take your pick.
    3. Make it easy, don't make it difficult.

      Ibn Jaya but please don't do "talfik"...mixing all the mazhabs everytime. It's not good. Every mazhabs already mature. They have their own learned men.
      For example the Shafii, they will take opinions from Ibnu Hajar al-Haithami or Imam ar-Ramli 1st before looking at other ashab ash shafiiah.
      In Haj it is true that some mazhab need to follow other mazhab, if not the haj will be unvalid.

    Hadiths cannot abrogate the Quran - that would be like putting the cart before the horse . Any major changes in legislation is always in the Quran

      asimsparks then they turn to Shafi'i because the Ayyubids and the Mamalik were Shafiites. Than came the Othmanis that was Hanafi, some turn to Hanafi. But the Shaikhul Azhar remain Shafii as whole. Only one was a Maliki i presume...

      Only Allah is and his angels are perfect. Even prophet Muhammad made a mistake. Read Surat Abasa. What makes you think Sahabas are perfect? They sinned occasionally as well since they are only human

      Please do not say Muhammad PBUH made mistakes! He is our teacher and every act of his was chosen by Allah SWT to teach us how should we lead our life. Only Allah has the right to warn or criticize him not us.. we are only to learn from him...

      Assalaamu Aleikum dear Muhammad S Hossain, brother Prince is not criticizing our beloved prophet (may peace be upon him). He is stating a simple truth to make a simple point. The point is that Allah (swt) alone is perfect. Allah clearly relays to us in the Qur'an that our beloved prophet (pbuh) had made a mistake or two at times and this should not be frowned upon nor taken negatively.
      One time is when our beloved messenger (pbuh) focused on giving dawah to an influential member of a tribe while a blind man was trying to get his (pbuh) attention to learn about the deen. Our beloved (pbuh) gave a face of slight annoyance to the blind man not because he (pbuh) did not want to convey the message to him but because he (pbuh) felt that his timing of wanting his (pbuh) attention was a little off. Allah (swt) corrected our beloved (pbuh) and informed him that his (pbuh) attention should have been with the blind man who wanted to hear and not the man of tribal influence who did not. As intellectually mature and emotionally mature believing Muslims who have no problem with this. And even his (pbuh) minuscule mistakes are lessons for us learn from. Subhanallah!

    Is any of the four madhabs wrong. No so pick one and practice it. What is the point of listening to someone who has learned the history of madhabs and feels the urge to share it with us. The speaker is very learned (which is shown by the fact he sprinkles his speech with Arabic words very clearly pronounced ) but do we really need to listen to an hour and half of this - I much rather be r listening to tafsir or anything that is applicable to me today. The madhabs are a done thing.

    • @MoSec9
      @MoSec9 7 років тому +6

      MrTellyBelly that's sort of what the speaker is trying to say. Do we need to listen to him? May be. You say it's a done deal, yet you commented on it, and I read your comment and commented :) But I tell you why it's important. It's history, and it's very important to know why we have multiple madhahib. Most intelligent people want to know why they are following this madhab and not that. What's the difference? Is it important ti stick to just one or can you mix and match? So, there. That's why.

    • @MrTellyBelly
      @MrTellyBelly 7 років тому +4

      Yes you are completely right. It is a bad point on my part because I think I was really expressing my own frustration at myself. I have spent years listening (and reading) about things like this and really what I found in old age is that I think I wasted my time with it because it did not really make be a better muslim - I should have really been learning knowledge about Allah (swt) - I think to get to know Allah (swt) really does help to find peace. With the four madhibs I love all of the imams and think they are all right in their opinions (and I will never be in a position nor want to be ever to disagree with them) so for me pick a madhib and stick to it. I totally agree a lot of younger people will want to know the background. Salaam alaikum wa rehmatullahi wa barakatuhu

    • @MrTellyBelly
      @MrTellyBelly 7 років тому +3

      Hi Rodney
      the madhabs are not sects. All of the madhabs are on the quran and sunnah and each of the imams who collated the fiqh of each are clearly on the right path. Sect are the shia, ahmedis, the submitters, nation of islam etc.
      I wish I hadn't commented as I now think there is a clear need to spread this knowledge. I truly regret commenting and ask Allah (swt) to forgive me. Ameen.
      Salaam alaikum wa rehmatullilahi was barakatu

      1) There were no schools in the time of Rasulullah (salallahu alayhi wa salam). He only told us to follow his way, which was the only one at that time.
      2) There are no schools mentioned in the Quran.
