Had a boarder collie mix. If that little Aussie is anything like a regular Aussie or a Boarder Collie or any of the other herding breeds it’s going to love to run 100mph all day long. And when you get some chickens it’s going to want to herd them. Those herding breeds love to have a job to do every day. Super smart too sometimes to a fault where they’ll outsmart you. Only issues we had with our boarder collie mix was he didn’t like loud noises like thunder, fireworks, or gunshots and he didn’t ride in vehicles well. Otherwise he was a great dog. Cool video and nice pup.
I d tag normally would be on the tongue but they can and would fall off. As far as the paint he put on it leave it in the sun it will bake off I've done it with a lot of wheel horse carts and tractors nice score I'd say here in North Carolina that cart would go for 250 to 400 as is if you replace the tires save the old ones if you decide to sale it collectors like the original tires even unusual ones
You made some progress on the field, though it definitely would have been better without all the rain. Teeter got used to being the only one, but she will be ok having a friend to play with. Nice little trailer too. The spayer is going to be handy. See you soon.
Hey Ethan. I’m looking at purchase an Oliver 33 combine that is in, for the most part, good original condition. Unfortunately, the straw walkers are rotted out on the bottom. Would you have any connections to where I could locate some? Thanks in advance for any help.
As a former Aussie owner, best by lots of squeaky tennis balls for her. She always try to herd people or anything to stay busy. Aussies are Velcro dogs. They stick tight to owners. Good luck with Lilly
I've put several thousand hours on Bobcat T770 skid steers and 50E excavators and never had one problem with the hydraulics. Had a swing motor problem that's about it. We do trade em in every couple years though.
VA got dumped on hard also with a late storm but the rain was spotty. The 2nd week of this month we got 8in! Yea there were flood warnings out. Ponds are still full.
We bought a new 14k lb.18+2 bumper trailer a few years ago made by PJ. The trailer is not bad but some of the welds could be better. It is the perfect size for us. I can pull our skid loader around with it or one of the tractors and the bush hog. I considered going with a 22' or 24' but this 20' works fine and takes up less storage space in the barn. I know what your talking about working on skidloaders. I have a 250 Series II John Deere and even though it's better to work on than most brands it's still a pain.
I think we got about the same as you did East of your location in Cass Co. I checked My low ground, and it has standing water all over it, corn didn't need to be watered like that but can't stop (Mother Nature)! Nice find on the cub lawn cart. I've also got a sprayer like yours's, only thing I don't like about it is it does not agitate the water/chemical mix when you stop spraying. Really handy to have on the farm for spraying fence lines and around post's.
I use the chemical element to spray bottoms under pivots it works well and is made to kill hard wood trees and bushes and it will mix with round up with no problems
I have two aussholes they love to run and play keep plenty of toys to entertain them they make really good dogs I wouldn’t know what to do without them if she is anything like mine she will love to ride in the truck tractor or anywhere she can fit
I have a 18 ft 7 ton Hudson I love it best trailer I have ever bought but mine doesn’t have a dove tale but if you get a 20 ft 18 whit 2 ft dove it be nice to have around
I envy that ATV battery location. Mine is under the seat so no way to make a quick hookup and put the seat back. It does have a Cig lighter outlet though. BTW Arctic Cat used Suzuki engines up to 2014-15. But did their own thing with the chassis.
I run that ATV sprayer a lot. I just have portable jump pack put on seat behind me an use on)off switch that way. Stupid how it's not got switch on it but that sprayer works badass
I have an IH trailer like that one. I still use it. Has original tires, with replacement tubes. Only use it around the house. I taped off the original decals and spray painted it IH red. Didn't like the cub color. Inside is just red oxide primer. Keeps it from rusting.
They make a fire hose noozle (Grainger has it) that's like $15 bucks, with a cam lock coupler, you can pop it on the end of a hose and have a variable stream noozle for washing stuff off or putting out fires, We have a couple of them, work good.
Them ATV sprayers are really handy. I do all the fence lines and stone walls and everything in no time with mine. I ran into the same thing. Mine didn't come with a switch which annoyed me. So I put one in and then got it filled up with product and realized that the pump has a pressure switch somehow internally so Once you run it and it build up pressure in the hose the pump turns off until you squeeze the trigger. Maybe yours does the same thing I'm sure you've already found out by now lol.
Have an ATV sprayer similar to that one. It has no switch on it either. The pump on my sprayer will build pressure and then shut off automatically. It will come back on when you open the valve on the wand and shut off when you close the valve.
You have made good progress so far. Judging by how the other field turned out, this will be as good or better. Thanks for the ride along Ethan. Take care. Fred
I saw that when I found some decent pictures on line. I hate those decals a lot of places went to in the 60s. They fell off in short order if things weren’t kept inside.
Ethan getting those piles of dirt took them down and filling in the holes will help in the field. I would agree once you get it plowed and everything the land plane might help level things off even more. I definitely think that the sprayer should have a rocker switch on it like you said. When I was a kid living on the farm we had a Australian blue heeler the dog was natural when helping hurting the cows to bring them up for milking. Thanks Michael
@@Oliver66FarmBoy right I have a number 2 Cart as well and I’m putting a vac system on it and I need to track down some decent side tins for it but I seen that cart had them on it so I’d figured it didn’t hurt to ask but I appreciate the reply back 👍
Jackson there's a place in N W Indiana that sells jd riding mower's. Ad is in Michigan Auto and RV Google will pull it up. Hope you get something from this.
Looking good buddy Tell your dad. Thank you be safe out there your buddy from Nebraska

This one is pretty chill. She either just follows us around or stays with teeter.
Keep her well exercised mentally and physically. If you don’t Aussies will find a way to get into trouble. They are great dogs and very loyal.
Yes they are.

I’ve been looking to get one of those ih dump carts I have a 129 and a 1000
That cart would look good behind my 147.

At this point I’ll just take the rain and work around it.

Good luck. Better off fixing what you have.
Do you know anyone with a heavy offset disc? I've used my neighbors to cut up old overgrown fields, and that did an awesome job.
No.

Could part's from AG Spray work? After a failure on the quad sprayer?
If not local/regional spray parts warehouse.

We made a fitting that quick couples on our tank and necked it down to 1/2 inch galvanized pipe works good

I got some tires from harbor freight that are cheap but seem to work
2nd farm hand with no thumbs! Good you 😂
The corn and Beans enjoyed that rain I'll bet.
if your killing brambles round up a good one
There's a switch kit i got for my sprayer at TSC. It comes with a switch and adapters to connect to the battery or plug into a cigarette lighter.
I just bought an in-line toggle switch.

I put an online switch in the harness.

Wait a second why do you have something John Deere in your truck in the toolbox yes I saw that.
Oh my gawd. I have a John Deere air filter box full of golf balls in my tool box. Oh the humanity……. Stupid.
My D3 is a good machine for reclamation Farm Boy!
I’d like a D4.
The serial number decal should have been between the front decal and the dump handle.
I saw that when I found some decent pictures on line. I hate those decals a lot of places went to in the 60s. They fell off in short order if things weren’t kept inside.
Had one of these dogs on the farm, was an amazing dog, was insanely active 😂
Yes they are.
What brand of skid steer would you buy if you were to?
Gehl.
Power wash cart and then clear coat it to leave or save the decals and original conditions.
It needs restored. There’s rust to fix after I power washed it.
Good stuff Ethan

thanks for the video! would you be interested in selling those vac side tins off that number 2 cart?
