With just two words, Catterall responded to all of Taylor's bully talk. "You clown" hit the spot, Taylor looked pretty embarrassed there. Taylor is the champion and without a doubt the more polished boxer and the favorite in the fight, but he was ungracious during the promotion, talking down to Catterall without provocation. It's hard to understand why he did that since he took the fight more as a favor to Catterall than necessity. You grant a big fight to your friend, he acknowledges that, thanks you and has only words of respect for you, and yet you chose to ridicule him during the promotion. No sense at all.

Taylor is fire. He's the hungriest champion I've ever seen. A constant chip on his shoulder. A complete fighter with no flaws, incredible speed and power. And will fight anyone, no cherries no cab drivers or ice cream men. The real deal

Josh comes across badly on the head to head stuff imo seems very septic and bitter, he's the better fighter and I've no doubt will win the fight but he's not very likeable for a neutral punter to get behind, Jack is far more neutral fan friendly, boxers need to realise the fans have got to like you inside and outside of the ring, i see an easy night for Taylor but I think most neutral fans will be with Jack if they have watched a few of the pre fight interviews.
It feels like Groundhog Day with these press conferences.

There’s way too much waffle from promoters and broadcasters in boxing press conferences. Compare that to the UFC, one minute of Dana and then over to the fighters

Why is Taylor fighting a fella I've never heard of and not fighting one of the big names in the division? He seems like he's ready to.
He’s cleaned out the division. Catterall was paid step aside so that Taylor could unify on the condition he got his shot next. Taylor has had no choice but to take the fight.
And also, Taylor promised his fans at Scotland that he would fight at home in his next fight, given that no one from the UK were allowed to travel to see Taylor/Ramirez
