I thought Taylor won the first fight, I judged it exactly as Andre Ward judged. He was ringside, I was a thousand miles away at a screen. I also think Taylor will win the second fight by unanimous dec.
I watched in korea with the british commentary and I though Jack edged it by a round or 2 plus the point off. Didnt see some of the supposed good work and domination they said but i did first viewing think he won it. Then i watched it with no commentary and scored it closer to what Andre Ward scored it. Also the ref who scored it for jack scored it by 1 round so minus the knockdown Jack wouldn't even have had one winning scorecard....... Think like most that the best Taylor beats Catterall but the question is, is the best Josh Taylor still there?

That's a fact but he also were out of the ring and din't train for a long time. He had one fight in like 25 months and got arrested while on a bender.
Good choice to leave Ben, hopefully he has had enough time with Joe McNally to look good because he certainly looked weak against Teofimo.

I don't always take much stock of the levels thing. In my opinion if taylor was levels above he would have finished strong and stopped Catterall in the championship rounds the first fight but he didn't or couldn't.
I think Jack's style & being southpaw with his strange punch timing all threw josh off as well as being weight drained. They are similar in level in many aspects
