I have a theory about the crickets chirping at the end of episode 8. The crickets are when rue wakes up after she relapses since she stumbled outside and fell back meaning she is laying down on the road and waking up from a concussion from said falling. I may have put to much thought into this. But comment if you agree.
Remember when she was in the hospital she said the monitor was beeping so she imagined the beeping as birds chirping so maybe she was in the hospital at the end??but idk maybe I’m crazy
