Another Starter Base, but this time for my viewers who enjoy really small builds, I put together a simple A frame house with a second floor and storage area built into the staircase, this build should be super quick to gather the materials for as well as put together, This base does have the downside of you will need to expand to house all the NPCs, but it will get you started much faster than the larger build I posted previously. I hope you guys enjoy the builds so far, next I will be focusing on early game utility buildings and then after a few of those I will start to make things using blocks found later in the game / mid to end game builds. I hope you guys are enjoying the videos as always, and thanks for watching.
Really liked your two videos on Ensrhouded. They are slow enough, and the captions are amazing, as I could watch both without sound while walking on a treadmill XDD. Yesterday I built this. It took me 48mins to get the roofs properly aligned (and I play survivals since before Ark released lol) as not placing them at exactly the same distance gave problems with the top. Finished the build after 2.5h, haha. But enjoyed it alot. Now Im spoiled, I want more videos like yours, with those amazing captions, but you are maybe the only doing them so good.
I love that you make videos for several different games. Everytime I find a new game that I like that has good building, I always check if you have made videos for it :) Do you think you might try Smalland again sometime? They just added the ability to scale the size of different building blocks! Plus new decoration items. Totally fine if you've got no plans to do more of that game, just thought I'd ask! I've said this before but I think you are the best build guide channel. I think a lot of people make their videos too "fancy" so that they become hard to follow, if that makes sense. Far away camera that sweeps around. It makes for a good looking video, but it makes it hard to follow along sometimes. The way you do it is the best imo, its really helpful to see it from the players POV, to see how you place some parts up close. As long as you enjoy making these vids, we will enjoy appreciating them!
Iv thought about playing smallands again, but it wont be for a while, I tend to make videos on whatever im playing at the time so it really depends on that. also thank you :D I get what you mean with the fancy side, some build videos I feel are more for the spectacle than to be recreated, which is awesome as well because they can be seriously beautiful.
Great build, I like the directions on screen, very calming to work through. The fences need to be smaller, I've got a few builds myself and I just don't like those fences, they are massive. Maybe future update.
Honestly i cant say anything else , than wow ! Great thinking , very cozy , space effeciant in terms of how large it is and the amount of storage and room you get from it ! I'd class that as a perfect build ! Love it ! Also the music , if it wasn't from another comment i was about to ask if it was : Adrian Von Ziegler . As it fits perfectly !
Great for endgame too, this game has a great mining system and you can add basements.. even secret rooms/tunnels behind hidden doorways (carpenter unlock fairly early)
Thanks for this just picked up the game and spent hours building only to have it look like i'd got some cowboy builders in to fix my toilet with a digereedoo😅 this made my start alot nicer
Really nice build. I love it. The only bad thing I think it is that you put the stove outside, so you can't quickly fill up the rested bonus while cooking meat. But that can be easily solved by putting another cooking stove inside.
that is something I completely forgot ngl, thanks for pointing it out so I can remember it next time, I'm one of those players that rarely spends much time at the base so I always forget about rested buffs in almost every game I play lol.
Once again, well done and great inspiration. May I ask, are those medium size storage chests that you use? Also, if you do future such videos, which I hope you do, could you consider including the resource cost for such things as the windows, torches and doors? Many thanks.
Your constructions are excellent my friend, I am very happy and grateful. Is there any chance that you could place substitutes in Spanish? There are Spanish speaking people who would love to be able to know what they say in their videos, I don't speak English very well so it is difficult for me to understand the English substitutes.
I have considered finding a way of making my videos understandable in other languages, unfortunately, I don't know a good way to do it since I only speak English, and Google Translate would probably not work very well some of the time.
When I started making videos I used a program called openshot, mostly because I had no clue what I was doing and it was easy to use. but after a while, I switched to what I'm currently using Davinci Resolve. It's a lot faster and works better IMO, but slightly harder to learn.
Iv been enjoying it so far, it's got a nice mix of RPG and survival game, sort of leaning more towards RPG, I haven't really felt the need to use food as it only gives you buffs, so the survival aspect is mostly the combat. a lot of the fun comes from exploring / quests if that's your thing. as for building, there are a lot of materials, some of them look pretty nice together. a decent farming system (thank god for snapping points on plants) and decent mining and gathering, but since anything outside of your buildable area resets when you turn off the game, you can just go back to the same spot over and over again, which dunno how I feel about that. but it does make it so that everything isn't just gone if your playing MP
Hoenstly, I'd say it's not really worth it until they update/overhaul the building system. Dont get me wrong, there are definitely some nice aesthetic pieces to use, more-so than in most survival-crafting games, but the system itself is jank and a nightmare to work with imho.
Okay I don't know what's going on but either the guy who made this video is using mods or is cheating in some way. But there is no way to lay the Big side roofs down in such a way that it angles right to put the roof on. I've been at this for 5 hours now and no matter what I try nothing works. It always comes out lopsided or the top part of the roof wont snap on because of the angles of the big roofs are not right. This build is utter garbage.
I'm done I been at this for 6 hours and I can't seem to get the roof on and straight. No matter what I do the roof comes out all lopsided. This game sucks as bad as Valheim. I would love for just one of these games to actually have good build mechanics. Like No Man Sky has way superior build mechanics. Even with out using mods and glitch you can still build really cool bases. This game like Valheilm are like the same. Just really crappy thought process put in to the mechanics. Im so frustrated and angry. I won't ever touch this game again.
@@deaddudegaming hey, There is a way of turning off snapping letting you free place any of the blocks. I haven't downloaded any mods, so it should be possible in the base game. The default key to turn off snapping is X IIRC, I hope this helps.
@@ZerosterBuilds I gave on this game. I've I had to restart it over like 20 time because I have massive hole in the ground. I finally just got sick of playing this game. I can't build for shit in this game. I'd rather smash my head through a wall then to touch this game.

O
Cool starter base! Had to chuckle at the Valheim music, though :)
Thank you for putting torches down in the interior while building! It makes it so much easier to follow what you are doing. Nice build as always.
LOL love the Valheim opening music.
Great video. I made a whole village out of houses like this. thanks for this great guide

Thank you so much!! I was looking for a small and cute base and yours is perfect!!
Great design, awesome idea stacking chests underneath stairs to utilise the space👌 Subbed

Made your Valheim starter-endgame base. Gonna make this one when I pick this game up

Now I just need a side building for the other NPCs and Ill be set!
the valheim music made me go back to valheim when the goal was to play this. it was just for one night though!
Love it, i really like the roof meeting the ground.
Just hate that the walls poke through the roofs, they really need to fix that
Yeah, I Don't particularly like it either, but some of the later blocks may solve that hopefully, iv still been building with basic materials so far
You're the best!

What video editing Software do you use @ Zeroster

How do you keep so much resources ?
I used normal floors instead of foundations because its much cheaper and looks exactly the same.
The valheim music in the beginning was tits
Yeah, it fits the grasslands of enshrouded really well.
Thoughts on doing any build for palworlds?
theres a small chance, but I havent tried the game yet.

not quite sure why, hopefully its working now
No no no valheim music
