Why Pakistan wait until it hits the dead end? It has all the reasons to learn from history. The defeat of Pakistan soldiers in East Pakistan in 1971 offers a rich source full of lessons for any student of history. Pakistan lost its Eastern wing because it never developed political institutions. A vibrant Parliament would had absorbed the grievances of a people of Bengal. Two decades of "give and take" democratic process would had done wonder. Instead of learning from historical blunders, Jinnah's Muslim ghetto went back to its age old barbarism. Hence the ghetto. English institutions with a rule of law are too complicated for the minds of ghetto dwellers.
