I remember my late mum saying this one would be the one to rock the boat because she was already using her critical thinking faculties on the show. We thought she’d leave the sticks and end up in a serious profession and now she’s a writer. Mama was never wrong!

You are glowing! So beautiful! Congratulations on your book. I'm 70 yrs old and I too was raised in a very prison like Assemby of God church/religion. God is so good because in my 40s I was introduced to David Jeremiah and attended his church (worked for him as well) for 24+ yrs & was blessed to host John MacArthur many summers. Was led to dig deep into 'The Word" and found freedom. It's such a peaceful yet energetic and sweet life. God is so good. I've retired to Texas but I still continue to learn from John weekly. I'm so excited for you. God bless you, Jeremy, and your babies.

Wow! I've never really noticed until the first couple minutes of this video as you were describing your morning, not only how much you and Joy look alike but ALSO your mannerisms and facial expressions and in this video even how much your voice sounded alike. Could definately see the sisterhood clearly for a few minutes

I have actually noticed it in Joy's videos. I though that Joy sounds, looks, and acts like her big sister Jinger! I noticed it in several of Joy's most recent videos.
I am looking forward to reading your book! I love having been able to see you throughout your journey to finding the true freedom and beauty of life in Christ. I believe your story has the capacity to reach people in a way many of us can not and am glad you are following His command to witness to others in this way. You are truly beautiful, inside and out.

I have ordered it already so I get it on the 31st. I too have watched your family since you were young, and it will be a blessing to read your faith journey as an adult and mother. Your show was one of the very few that showed a family living their faith day to day, and it was fun to watch too. I do believe that it did tremendous good, and I'm disheartened that you suffered so much behind the scenes. We probably don't agree on a lot of stuff but just know I'm glad you were able to come out of your comfort zone and share your story and I'm happy to see your mental well being has improved over the past few years.

Jinger, I applaud your courage in first, having a willingness to listen to a different way of Christianity, and second, standing up for what you believe in, even if it differs from your parents' view. It is hard, I know it is. I have been thrown out of my family for being the problem because as an adult I accepted help for complex PTSD resulting from being abused as a child into adulthood. I miss my siblings (I'm oldest of five and only girl, I took care of them) and my heart aches every day over my father because I know that for him to treat me as he has, he had to learn it from his father. And I was brought up to honor thy parents and he is the only parent I have.
The pants thing: part of my family is Mennonite, some are horse & buggy while others more modern. When I'd go to visit, I'd always remember what my Aunt Susannah said one day as she grabbed a sweater to put over her short-sleeved blouse as we were leaving the house, "oop, don't want to offend the Old Order!" That lesson has served me well.

Jinger you're beautiful and brave. I grew up in the IBLP. Its taken a lot to become free but there are still times I feel tied to the harmful teachings. I too was a victim of csam. The church hid it. That was 49 yrs ago but it feels like yesterday. I'm so proud of you and can't wait to get my copy of your book. God bless!
I read the entire book start to finish in one sitting . Well I did audio books so I listened to it. But now I am ordering the physical book.
The book helped me have a new perspective in regards to my own upbringing. I found a peace in the pages .

I always enjoyed watching your show and your parents inspired me to have a big family. I’ve homeschooled my 4 now almost all adults. Be gentle on your parents, they seemed to really want to raise you all well and put God first. It’s because of them everyone knows you all…we all have parents that make mistakes and we make them too. I’m sure you’ll make them and would hope your kids don’t dishonor you. 💕 I’ve loved seeing you all grow up lovely, stay that way. It’s because of God and your parents impacted a lot too. The world and the fame will all pass away-will use you up but when you get older and lose the beauty, they won’t care anymore. Your parents will love you forever. Take care and thank you for sharing your life. 💕

My kids are you're age and older and I pray they read you're book! No one is part of the IFB or the Gothard institute anymore but they are floating. They've accept the Lord but aren't full serving him. You're book could be a turning point for them.
