I am impressed with how articulate she is. She has come along way from her upbringing. The changes she has made have not gone against Christianity and her faith comes across as pure.

She used to say "like, like, like" so much. She speaks so eloquently now with only a few "likes". I'd like to see a Q and A interview. I have many questions. How did her parents react to her saying that her upbringing was not what the Bible says, for example?

Shock resister, you’d probably be surprised at how “free thinking” the Duggar kids are now. They’ve really grown and blossomed as they’ve made their way out in the world. There was a lot of good in their upbringing in learning good character as well as being sheltered. I think they keep their opinions to themselves probably to be respectful of their family especially their parents.

I live in DC and became especially fascinated with this family when Josh & Anna moved to this area. Jinger is so eloquent and thoughtful! Her tolerance of differences is so refreshing and feels like the true spirit of Christianity. its important to understand though that you can be loving and tolerant of ppl who have different beliefs and values while still holding true to your own beliefs. it is the purpose to make christianity more attractive to those who are without God and a church.. God wants christianity to be more attractive so more can be saved.. but the values of christianity have not changed from the Bible. if you want to become a christian it is about being born again and living your life for christ. the old you dies, and the new you is born. and while you’re still susceptible to sin, instead of diving further into sin, you repent and have faith in God that He will get you through that tribulation. it is about fully trusting in God and relying on that pure faith to get through this temporary life here on Earth before we receive the gift of eternal life with our creator.

That may be a true remark, but it seems like that's what Jinger is trying to embody. As a non-Christian, it's actually horrifying to see the way Christians are behaving these days. I read an article about that 12 year old who was shot and killed after getting into trouble with cars. The number of Christians seeing that as an appropriate action was horrifying. But reminded me of how Baptists could go to church and then lynch someone on their way home. I would never describe Christianity as "tolerate" or "peaceful" as an outsider looking in. But I believe Jinger is trying to embody those traits

Doing good deeds because you want to go to the good place and be reunited with loved ones and not enjoying life and being yourself with your own beliefs because you don’t want to go to the bad place, that really doesn’t sound like freedom to me. "living her best life's does not ring a bell with what a Christian life is.
Christians are waiting for the better life, eternal life. This life doesn't promise anything 'best', on the contrary, hardships, sorrow. The world hates true followers of Christ.
John 15:20-21 (KJV) Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep your's also.

Thank you for sharing your family on TLC! You were the best program on TV at that time along with the Bates. I will always love your mom! And I believe you have learned your wonderful mothering skills from her! Praise the Lord!

So glad I opened my eyes and my mom realized we shouldn't be that God loves all of us regardless even those who condemn him. God doesn't look at what you wear it's all in ur heart you can where jeans etc.. glad I realized early one

I also have the utmost respect for you for respecting the privacy of your children. Children should NOT be used as content on social media until they are old enough to consent.
