I picked up a black & white RS in April from Don Mealey Chevy in Clermont. 11k so far. No issues whatsoever. Mine is optioned the same as this test car; everything except moonroof and power liftgate. People complaining about the 1.3T and CVT are up the wrong creek. Braking is excellent; reminds me of my old BMW 5 series. This car runs very smoothly. Great design outside. The interior is not bad; seats are cloth and neoprene. Front passenger seat folds forward flat for excellent utility when needed. Korean build quality, good tech. About 28 MPG combined city/highway. This vehicle also recently earned the coveted "top safety pick." Only complaint is that the horn sounds as if it was taken from a Lordstown-produced 1987 Pontiac Sunbird. Otherwise an excellent small SUV.
Had a 1990 Sunbird. I loved that piece of shit car. Blew a headgasket on that bitch, twice! Shittiest motors you ever saw. But it had a pretty incredible sounding stock stereo system. I loved that car.

Just bought a new 2022 Trailblazer RS FWD in Crimson Red Metallic for my Grandson for Christmas this year. I've been watching several of the video reviews for this car and you've provided a great POV. Best I've seen and you confirmed what I thought....a great vehicle for the money. I really like all of the safety features this vehicle has to offer. Also, he's a golfer so the extra cargo space will be perfect for his clubs and gear. Hopefully he will enjoy it for many years to come!
Great review. We have the 2021 RS fwd in oasis blue as well and we love it! We have 28k miles on it with absolutely no problems. Ours has the huge powered pan sunroof and powered lift gate but I wish we had the Bose stereo like this one. And yeah, this 1.3 turbo has a lot of torque and pulls hard on the highway. You can have your v8's, ill take my 33+ mpg and drive in style.

I bet the heated steering wheel light is on because of the chip shortage and the retro fit and heated seats as well
3 cylinder turbocharged FWD that can put a little torque to the rear wheels some of the time... this thing was designed to be sold rather than designed to be driven.
i dont think 3cyl CVT is something that attracts customers. But when you drive it it feels nice. So i cant agree

@@MrJlamb10 When asked owners tend to "love" something after they buy it so they can feel better about making a bad decision... as I suspect you know Jeffrey. Sales are dropping across America and there are massive sales on going to unload models sitting stagnant on lots. I haven't driven one because I knew from the start that I wanted more car, more ability than a 3-cylinder with a low-end drive train can provide. The trailblazer was designed to be sold rather than being designed to be driven.

What happen to 25k?? Sounds like the vehicle is 30k for a 3 cylinder that's only 155 hp.. crazy

Pretty thorough review, but I thought the RS models got the 1.8T engine with the 9 speed automatic transmission
I just bought the 2023 LT I love this little suv but it's broke my heart when I had to take it in back to the dealer because the transmission pump went out and I had less that 100 miles the dealer told me if I drive it, it would damage the transmission so they had to get the parts, some they have and some they had to order, hmm, I hope that they didn't have to get the parts from South Korea.

Me and fiancé just bought the RS and it’s currently on its way in but the description of the features seem to be different from what you are showing. No BOSE audio and the display screen is listed smaller on our features. Do all RS models come with the same features or are some different
