It couldn't possibly be that so many Americans can't live a life where they can't get by without overdrawing their checking account, or that they work 50hrs a week but still are at the poverty line, or due to massive wage decreases over the decades.
And I dont understand, do you not want an universal health care so that we all can go to the doctor and not end up bankrupt? LITERALLY EVERY DEVELOPED COUNTRY PROVIDES LOW COST/FREE HEALTH TO THEIR CITIZENS. How is it we're one of the wealthiest, most developed countries and we can't afford to not let our citizens die because they can't pay for heath care?
@Dog Stopper the reason you can't finance healthcare and college in the US is because their cost has been allowed to artificially inflate over the last decades because of lack of regulations. The price tag for an average medical treatment in the US is almost tripled compared to other 1st world countries. I agree that Bernie's principle "we raise tax and make stuff free" in this moment is detached from reality. It needs to be a slow, gradual process to make life more affordable in the US, not just with taxes but with regulations.

A friend from H.S. died thanksgiving morning when a drunk driver went the wrong way on the freeway. He was only 17 years old. The woman who killed him, would post on her facebook profile that she loved to drink and get drunk, and the people n the comments would glorify her.

What's bothering, you're not supposed to use the Breathalyzer's for determining guilt. They aren't accurate enough. That's probably why he mentioned the field sobriety. They really need to do away with the number, unless it's for a blood test.
