Mike Myers' dad was British, and Mike made this series FOR his dad, in a way.
They watched the Connery-era Bond movies religiously in their house
Hence the prodigious chest hair. As descendants of Britian, Mike and his dad had great admiration for a man with Sean Connery's chest hair.

The "Random Task" joke is based on a James Bond henchman whose name (really) was Oddjob.
And Alotta Fagina clearly a play on the Bond character Pussy Galore.

the name "random task" is a play on the name "odd job" from the henchman in the james bond film "goldfinger." odd job would use his bowler hat as a weapon by sliging it threw the air. and miss "lotta fagina"'s was a reference to the character "pussy galore" from the same 007 film.
Joseph Hyungmin Son, the actor who played Dr. Evil's Oddjob-inspired henchman in the first Austin Powers movie, was sentenced to life in prison for his role in a 1990 Christmas Eve gang rape and torture of a woman.
