Honestly impressed with this. I have a JP2C so I am good with having the actual amp, but I might look into this anyway down the road. Thanks for the demo! \m/
Pssst Ayo I heard you like IIC+ & SS Amps So I called Quilter and had them...build the Overdrive 200. You don't have to do a video on it...but it'd be a lot cooler if you did.
I normally don't buy the ML soundlab plugins(I did buy Roots, Humble, and GNR though), but I bought this right when I seen it was out after demoing it to get the code for purchase. It's such a great amp sim, it sounds amazing with the Solo-6 I got off you last month :D
Watched Fluff's introduction video. You both sold me on this. Kyle, you have sold me on a TC50...my wife will definitely roll her eyes, as guitar is about my 4th instrument...and my playing proves it! Dig your presentations; great playing, great stuff!
Yeah, I bought this a few days ago. Seriously brutal metal sounds, especially if you want to get some of those older Metallica And Justice For Al and Pastor Of Muppets tones.
Yea great vid on this plugin , still perfer my JP2C , but man this is good stuff, maybe later in life when I am done hauling around a 50Lb amphead and 2 2x12s. Thanks Kyle for helping me spend future money.
You didn't demo the channel for the weak people lol ,I have this plugin already sounds great ! considering I don't own a mesa boogie anymore sold a triple rect and a roadstar ,but i did like your t-shirt bc i do own a Powerball ll and a savage !. I like these ML sims I have a couple more as of now the amped roots and the GNR , fun stuff thanks.
I have a IV and it's a killer amp but I like the idea of being able to download this software and getting a pretty good 2c+ tone. Just debating whether it's worth buying an audio interface and studio monitors.
I've noticed that the face knobs of amps like the JCM800 and the relatively newer Randall RG pair perfect with an external EQ. Master of Puppets was played with a JCM800 being slaved into a Mark IIC+ (or was it the other way around? I can't remember 😭) so you can imagine how a JCM800 with that kind of EQ would sound. 🤔
This JCM thing is a myth that won’t die. Flemming debunked this rumour in the 2000’s. James’ rhythm tone on MOP was the Mark IIC+ preamp and power stage.
Nice tones, my friend! I have an of topic question: What interface do you use? Do you go direct into the Hi-z input or do you use a DI box before the signal hits the interface? I’m kinda new into this, and trying to gather the best info for start my recordings! Cheers!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Terrific-sounding sims from this company but the elephant in the room is their presets system. It is virtually none existent. You can Save a present but if you change a control, like the Delay Time or change a mic, you are unable to update the preset. You need to create a new preset and manually key in the full preset name. And this seems to apply to all of their sims. Managing the presets in these sims is unwieldy. I bought one and am now waiting and hoping this will be corrected. Until then....
“Oh wait I dont care.” Was great
I think this is the most gain I've ever heard you use. Sounds great.
First time I see such a tight and precise rhythm player struggling so much with lead guitar😆One of my favorite gear reviewers, though!
To my ears they've absolutely nailed it.
I think I'm gonna have to pick this up.
This makes me want a Mark series amp that I'll never afford. Nicely done ML, Fluff, and KB.
At the "I think we got ourselves a tone" mark, is the one for me. Great demo 🤘😎👍
Bro, the sneaky Beloved riff?!? My man
Honestly impressed with this. I have a JP2C so I am good with having the actual amp, but I might look into this anyway down the road. Thanks for the demo! \m/
Awesome plug-in. So glad you've discovered the magic of Mark series amps.
Pssst

Only 1/4 way through so far, you're funny af, keep doing you.
Watched Fluff's introduction video.

This could be easily the most realistic sound ive heard with plugins.
I know this is about the amp but that condenser mic sounds great!
dude right?! I forgot I had it so I figured I'd try some thing new for a new setup and WOW. AKG P220 purchased used from GC for $65
@@belligerentamateur Nice one and cool to see you covering plugins dude.
wow nice, I have an Archetype Nolly which is great but I was thinking I need a Mesa amp as well, thank you!
Wow this video de-mystifies how the Mark tone stacks work. Now they don't seem so intimidating - thanks Kyle!
Yeah, I bought this a few days ago. Seriously brutal metal sounds, especially if you want to get some of those older Metallica And Justice For Al and Pastor Of Muppets tones.
Sounds pretty awesome! I just picked it up and it's very on par with a Mk amp, thanks again Kyle 🤘🏻

You shoud get the real thing after i got my 2c+ all other mesa amps sound like the 4x12 are covered with pillows
Sounds great, Kyle. What kind of studio monitors do you play through?
D2 RE haha will you ever get the model name R2 DE right haha great vid as always
Awesome intro Kyle. Love your channel 😊
Damn it! That sounds huge!
The clean channel comments made me lol.

Great tone Kyle!!!!!
Badass . It sounds great 👍
Heard it in fluffs channel. Very simple to use and sounds insane 👍👊
🤘🏼🤘🏼
Totally agree dude!
UA-camrs reviewing UA-camrs - what will they think of next?

Kirk on a recent rick beato interview stated that master of puppets was recorded on a super modified jcm 800.
That is a huuuuuge screen!!!
Do the Peavey Windsor next!
How dare you tell me what I can and can't afford. Just kidding, I can't afford shit. 😁 Nice demo broski!
not a plugin guy, but that sounds legit
We're we listening to this through speakers??
3:44 lmfao
I hope this channel would oftenly demo Plugin and IR....
Gonna be dpoing them more often moving forward!
@@belligerentamateur Yeah!! 👍👍
Circle Pit!!!!!!!
Sounds epic 👍
Music for weak people. Best line I've heard in a video in a long time.
Good stuff!
Nice tones, my friend!

Cheers!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
hey man! I just use a simple Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen and go direct in! that's all ya need, no do box required
@@belligerentamateur thanks for that, my friend!
Keep rockin!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Sorry if you mentioned this and I missed it, but what pickups do you have in the LP Standard?
Duncan full shred in the bridge.
What's a clean channel?
Thanks Kyle. Still more reliable than an actual Mesa product.

This and the rectofire by mercuriall audio are the best 2 amp sims out on the market right now and they are both doing mesa amps!
This intro song sounds amazing!
Thank you, my man
Yeah I’m definitely gonna mess around with this. Solid plug-in and solid demonstration.
Do you get latency?
Nah, I still want my MKIV. Don't wanna be attached to a pc.
good for you
"Clean, if you like playing music for weak people" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What’s your signal chain/interface going into the plug in?
cable into Presonus 1810C
Kyle what's up man...
My guy!
Repeat after me;
My computer is not a guitar amplifier.
My computer is not a guitar amplifier.
My computer is not a guitar amplifier.
it's so weird though, because it totally, absolutely is!
„Music for weak people” lol
