    Thank you! I have been pouring over a physics thesis and study for the last 12 months and I just could not find a way to use goal seek effectively. I have also never used the function for assigning 'names' to formula values, that is an incredible method for simplifying equations. This will allow me to finally start moving forward.

    Will this analysis dynamically update the output if we change one or more of the inputs like w or y_0?

    Why all equations of catenaries do not include Y0-T/W as you do??

      I believe it has to do with Y0 being equivalent to "c" which is the same as "T/W". So it's basically adding a "c-c" at the end which is 0

      Oh wait I think it's because technially y0 is your reference point so really, that should be 0 in most circumstances. The rest of the equation is the same except for y0
