Love how you make fun of yourself. Too funny. Great review, we take our bikes with us attached to the motorhome. Pretty happy with it but kind of tight for two bikes. Keep up the great reviews !!! Thanks

Thank you. I really appreciate your kind words... my accent is definitely one of my insecurities but I've decided not to take it too seriously.
      Thank you for your comment!

Thanks Eli. We are currently looking for a bike rack that would suit our needs. My husband, also wants to keep an eye on the bikes while he is driving. Your review is fair and honest!

I just bought a hitch stabilizer also. The hitch has quite a bit of play in it which sometimes contributes to camper sway. Can't wait to try it out. I only have two bikes. I just lean against the camper bed. Out of sight, out of mind.

One could use the bed of the truck to haul the bikes along. Use those roof bike racks and figure out a way to mount them on top of the bed of the truck.

I just happened to come across your video while searching for tongue mount bike racks. Your video was the first I came across and I thought you answered all the concerns I had. Our travel trailer came with a receiver on the rear bumper, and I was thinking of just adding a bike carrier, but as you said, you couldn't keep an eye on it. Should the bikes come loose or fall off, there could be some problems. That is where I was thinking of one mounted to the tongue. I like that you can see the bikes by just looking in the rear view mirror. My concern was, how much extra tongue weight I would be adding and what would be the effects of the tow. You said you had some sway while towing. That could make me a bit nervous. But I liked how you were able to correct that problem. We pull our trailer with a pick up truck, but with my bike, as well as my wife's and our two daughters bikes, they took up the entire bed. I was just looking for a solution to at least take two of the larger bikes, and I think with your help, I may have found a solution. Or two. Anyway, thanks for the great video and keep safe.

Great video. The rack is not that bad if you spend extra money for lighter weight bikes.

I like the base system how it could be used for other things as well. The video of the bikes swaying around is crazy. I wonder if the bikes messed up the aerodynamics of the trailer? We had a trip where heading out the sway was horrible on I-81, figured later it was a cross wind after talking to other campers that had same issue. Totally agree with mounting the bikes on the back, will they make it or not is on my mind. Thanks again for the good info!

Have you ever checked out the Arvika bike rack? I think it is easier to put the bikes on.

Thanks for this video. I came here because You, Me and the RV recommended your channel.
I have 3 Yakima bike racks liked the Swagman racks that you had installed on the rear platform. I’m curious how you mounted them and what was it about that, other than not seeing them, that you didn’t like about them being mounted back there.

Welcome aboard and Thanks to Stacy and Phil for recommending us.
We mounted using a U bolt and a few nuts and bolts. We still have it but we prefer the other one because we can see the bikes at all times while we drive.
      Thanks for watching!

I've seen a number of ways people have tried to bring their bikes. It seems like none of them is ideal.
With that first rack (on the hitch), I thought it could be stabilized by strapping the bike frames down to the trailer tongue frame. Strapping on the bike wheels could cause them to go out-of-round or even pull the front one off completely. Still no ideal solution. 😡
