This is my third flight of the OMP Hobby Super decathlon. I just had to share this flight! ,it is an awesome bird!
This is a 4s planes with a 55 inch wingspan. It can be VERY agile if you do not tame down the control surfaces with lower rates. It can be flown in a 3d type flying very easily if let her loose!!

I complain about the heat and rain in Florida then I see pictures of people in the North having to dig there car out of the snow every morning only to have to go out and work in that mess. Then I say other than hurricanes' I should just suck it up a little. I could not live up there! My hats off to ya brave soul!
Thanks for doing the grass Ops. Knowing a planes capabilities of handling grass takeoffs and landings is important to me because the club I fly at only has a grass runway.

Im amazed that almost none of the Foamy manufacters havnt come out with the Super Decathlon Yet. Volantex made one but the Motor n Esc were garbage in it.
I wanted the volantex version but it was an extra $50 for shipping for just a kit version.

Was this flight on 3S ?The description says a 4s plane but the pop up at 1:05 said 3s 3200.Thanks
Yeah i flew her on 3s , she can fly on both. I prefer 3s in her though.

do you recommend using the $15 6 channel DSMX Rx from Value Hobby....
i have that receiver in about 20 of my planes and have only had one have issue with one of them sending a bad signal to my rudder. Understand that is 1 out of twenty with multiple flights without the slightest issue. So I still recommend them. But with ANY receiver do a range test no matter what.

Nice flying. I put an AR 620 in mine. I havent been able to fly mine yet. I live in Ohio about an hour away from omp and its been really windy . Where do you have your cg at?
Sounds great! I will be switching to a 6 channel receiver so I can take advantage of changing the light pattern. I know its not an exact CG but for a 3200 4s all the way forward mine is about a inch and half in from wing leading edge. but that will vary upon battery placement ang weight of the lipo.
