Hi, sorry for all the cut edits. This video took way too long to record so I needed to break it up into multiple takes. The swarf feature starts at 22:38 Thanks for watching!
whats the need for creating a a stock model wireframe and a seperate level wire frame of the same Geo? I normally create a wireframe bounding box of my stock then go to machine properties and select that bounding box model as a my stock, and also create a stock model by selecting that wire frame.
Hi, that's a good point and I actually just included that in a recent tutorial video. I mostly kept them separate so that the students got their repetitions in and understood the differences between the two features.
Hey! Thanks a lot for new tutorial. Cool and clear explanation. I have one suggestion - Can you make tutorial about design fixtures for 5 axis machine. Or give ideas how make them better and cheaper. Thanks a lot. Have a nice day
whenever i create a new machine group and create a new WCS using Wireframe/Bounding Box/Advanced Tab and check "set as current tool plane" and "set WCS from new tol plane" the construction plane will almost every time be a different plane. Do you know how to let mastercam activate WCS, Tool and construction plane automatically? my plane follow rules are: Cplane/Tplane follows WCS ✔ Gview follows WCS Cplane follows Gview ✔ Tplane follows Cplane ✔ Cplane = Top in isometric Gview

Hi, I'm actually working on some pretty cool workolding projects with a few 3D printing companies. Hoping to make a video on that soon!
@Art of the Part wow. Thanks a lot. We all hope to see a new tutorial about this

That's a great tip, I'm going to look into that! I know coming from SolidWorks always plays havoc on the planes in MasterCam. Thanks so much!!
Super good video! How can I download solids like this to practice on?
Hi, I'm still working on how I want to host the solids and practice files. I would really like to create a platform for that before the year is over.
