Omg so question! Your first year did you find yourself in your hair alot? Just touching it? I swear I have a problem I just want to touch the ends. Be pulling on it and everything. I put in box braids to distract myself but really missing my hair free. Trying to forget about it. Smh when your so use to changing hairstyles every week the moment you don't its like error error
Omg yes ! I used to be so amazed by what my hair was doing , i was always touching my hair, inspecting the new texture, it’s pretty cool to see.
It’s definitely normal to miss your free hair but just stay with it girl and remember why you started them in the first place 💕
@Nikki Jahné yess ok so im not alone with this. And yes definitely will its way better just being able to wake up and not really worry about what my hair is doing. But thanks for getting back to me so quick ❤️❤️
You locked up a twist out? Whaa? How did your sections stay put?
Yup ! I had the twists in for a couple days so it kept the form, i just had to take it out carefully. And then i retwisted the new sections because i wanted them smaller.
@@Nikki_Jahne did you separate them dry or wet? This is such a neat idea! I’m 3 weeks into two strand starters and want to go smaller. I should have just got micro locs 😩

@@Nikki_Jahne thanks for replying, I appreciate it! One more question, did you wash it after you separated or left them alone for awhile? I’m trying to decide if it’s better to wash them before or after I unravel if that makes sense :-)
@@ndavis1621luv thinking about it now, I washed it before. So it was actually wet when i separated the parts.
