Hi...great job. I mean this respectfully...when do we get introduced to your girlfriend? I hope that was OK to ask
Small history correction: Ottomans occupied Albania between 14-15 century. Most of the castles predate from 2000 to 3000 years and that was the Illyrian Epirote era. Than it was under the Roman and later Byzantine Empire for more than 8 centuries.
Thanks for the info
Po mo po, pirdh pirdh.
Na kan mashtru me historine tone, shumica e keshtjellave jane mesjetare, ne disa raste themelet jane me te vjetra, po nuk jane Ilire e Romane ca shikon me sy por rikonstruksione te bera kohet e fundit ne mesjete e mbrapa.
Interesting that you use the word *occupied* when it comes to Turkey/Ottoman Empire but refrain from using it when you mention the Byzantine Empire or the roman empire. Be happy Turkey is helping Albania against fachist Greece and Serbia.
@@flo2677because we would be an EU country today if the ottomans wouldn't have occupied Albania. It is very simple.
@@geniinfo7201 Factually wrong. The reason Albania is behind is because of the former stalinist regime under Enver Hoxha which made us a North-Korea 2.0
Hi Dany! I wanted to inform you that Albania DOES HAVE A DIGITAL NOMAD VISA. You can apply for what is called a Unique Permit. The Unique Permit allows remote workers to live in Albania for up to a year, with an option to request an extension for the second year. After the second year, they can extend it for five more years. After that, they can apply for permanent residency.
Hope this was helpful. Great video!😁
I've been in Albania last year 2022 I was alone so I rented a car and I start roaming from Tirana to Vlore for about 4 days after that Saranda and Ksamil and the blue eye spending one week over there it was amazing.. then I went to Berat and Gjirokaster spending two days in each one exploring.. then I returned to Tirana to change the car with 4x4 and head to Shkoder which is a small city in the north of Albania to start my trip to Theth and Valbona ( villages ) in the Alps of Albania as they say.. spending another week in the idyllic fairy tale villages. and to have the perfect closure to my trip i went to the small city of Pogradec to spend two days at the small nice beach of lake Orhid which is divided between Albania and North Macedonia. believe me guys that was the trip of a life time. So thank you Dany for the valuable information and inspirations which started this trip in the first place and could lead to a better one.
American living in Albania 🇦🇱❤️. Invest for sure.
Awesome! I'm an ethnic Albanian that lives in NJ lol
Cool, let’s trade? lol @@pseudonymshqipe854

Nice to see you back in Albania Dany. I Always enjoy your videos .
Thanks for the advice 😉
I checked out some statistics about tourism in Georgia and Albania and The numbers are significantly higher in Albania.Albania is reaching 9 millions foreign tourists this year.Yes,there are certain seasons that you will see less tourists but this happens in Croatia as well which is super touristic country.I've been in Croatia,in Zadar precisely, winter time and i must say you cannot see a single tourist on the streets. Albania is the same.
Some interesting thoughts and talking points. well done.
Welcome back
Love from ALBANIA 💯🇦🇱
This was a great video. When i saw 22 minutes i rolled my eyes but chock full of info
Everything you need to know in one video 💯
Thanks a lot for your honest review! Glad to hear that other people enjoy Albania!
🇺🇲❤️🇦🇱
Yes brother albania will welcome you back at anytime
The most honest impression 👏.
I greet you. I watched your videos about Albania with great pleasure. I congratulate you for the work you have done. The videos have a lot of valuable information. The videos show a deeper description of Albania and are not just superficial.
You have become dear to the Albanians. Every Albanian who has seen your videos appreciates you. You will always be welcome in Albania.
You can do an experiment and ask for meetings with Albanians. See how many invitations you will have and how well they will receive you.
🔥🔥🔥
winter weather there?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
you come back to albania?
I wish to be there soon
I Love to settle in Albania
Haven't you heard that Albania was visited by 7.5 milion people in 2022, and already 9 milion as we're talking in 2023 ( 10 milion expected for 2023 ). By the way ,that's double the number of tourists that visited Georgia, but yet you feel like you've seen only a couple of tourists in Tirana 🙄. Only the number of italians that visited Albania in 2023 until now,is 660 thousand, according to both italian and albanian statistics.
Shumica jane nga Kosova qe vijne disa here ne vit o per pushim o per mjekim, pune, udhetim drejt Europes etj ata llogariten sa here te hyjne. Perderisa Kosova mbetet numri me i larte une nuk shoh ndonje lloj turizmi, kur te huajt te tejkalojne Kosoven atehere mund te flasim. Te them drejten une nuk do t llogarisja fare Kosoven ne statistika sepse eshte absurde eshte sikur te llogaritesh sa here ne vit kane hyre gjirokastritet ne Tirane.

Great job Dany…👍
You deserve an Albanian passport …✋😊
I was in Albania when I saw your Georgia video. Now I’m in Georgia watching your Albania video 😂. While I appreciate that Georgia is more developed- you’re right - I think I prefer Albania.
I doubt Georgia is more developed
Albania and Georgia have almost the same HDI
I m curious to know what his national background is ?
I think you should definitely consider to invest in Tirana, maybe a nice appartament because very soon they would be so expensive.A lot of italians, polaks and ukrainians are doing this in Albania.
It’s already expensive, wtf, they doubled in 5 years.
No we don’t need more foreign westerners too buy our country
I think you should add statistics on the male to female ratio in every city you visit because no matter how beautiful the town nobody wants to go where there's no women
Tirana is absolutely full of nice looking young women (in their 20s), but they seem to disappear at night. Bars are mostly full of dudes. I confirmed this perception with a few other expats there after a month in the city. Only issue is that Albanians hang with - and generally only date - Albanians. Dany touches on a few of these subjects in the sense that Albania is very Albanian.
@@tupisamba211I don’t think that’s true, but you must live in Albania to date them, or have strong family values and good prospects in order to attract them.
@@User12345fanit’s true most Albanians marry Albanian and we want it too stay like that mixing is bad
😍😍
Same in France -fresh fruits, veggies .... just the overall quality of food is wholefoods standard .
In France? I would guess in big cities many imports and mostly mass farming etc. I might be wrong
@@DanygotaworldtoseeShe might be comparing to the US. Within Europe France is nothing special in terms of food freshness ofc.
I love my country so much 🇦🇱❤️🖤
I'm coming over to Albania 🇦🇱next year❤
Me too
Yes, Croatian are our brothers.
😃
What a lovely локон страсти💦
Trying to count how many times he said like ......
Albania is one of the richest countries in the fourth world
People keep calling albanian citys Ottoman like w t f, albanians were there for centuries, they have fighted to keep for them this Beautiful places, what has that to do with Ottomans or Greece?
In term of style since most of the cities were burned /destroyed ruined by the Ottomans and then while some disepeared from the face of the earth , some of them were rebuilt more in a ottoman style of architecture which is more visible on the cities like Berat, and Gjirokaster to a certain degree, and in Tirana old otoman houses as well. Then again we still call it Berat (and while some say it refers to Belgrade some say is Turkish, I have no idea which one of these is true but in any way is not an Albanian name and we should have renamed it to it's original name, as well as a lot of other places but what we do intead we still continue to name places will names from other countries to this day, this is my personal opinion anyway) when the ancient Ilirian name was Antipatrea, so we have our part of the gilt for not preserving well our names, traditional culture and architecture etc.And being under the Ottoman Empire for 5 centuries is inevitable. But truth be told Every country has taken and been inspired from other countries in terms of architecture and other cultural aspects. Good things are meant to be shared, bad on the other hand is better not to mess up with, and hopefully we will be wise enough to tell the difference between the two in the future
But please ... WHEN was this video made? You speak about past visits. You refer to 2020 and 2021. You say you were filming in October. 2022? 2023?
Filmed in late 2023. I visited in 20 21 and 23
You're not really free unless you have 2 passports.
Big up Albania and Kosovo 🇦🇱🇽🇰
🤦♂️
Love this country but for me Albania is Italy for poor people)))
did someone tell you before how beautiful you are?
Enjoyed the scenery, but your presentation was the most banal of all.
Hi , i am a poet, wannna colllab ?????
Your videos inspire me.
it's been a decade and you still say "let's say" every 20 seconds. stop it
kosovo is serbia
Kosovo is albania, always was albania. Cry serb 😢

They have KFC, Pizza Hut, Dominos and Burger King of what i know...
But we dont have macdonalds
@@Spiritualwarfare587Hope they get, not because i am a huge fan, but because when tourist visit, they should have the opportunist to feel like home, and that is what McDonalds symbolize.
Hopefully they will ban them all ! Better to keep your traditional restaurants and gastronomic culture than become Americanised selling crap junk food.
@@flo2677 If tourists want to feel like they are at home, then they should stay at home !
