Hi Dany! I wanted to inform you that Albania DOES HAVE A DIGITAL NOMAD VISA. You can apply for what is called a Unique Permit. The Unique Permit allows remote workers to live in Albania for up to a year, with an option to request an extension for the second year. After the second year, they can extend it for five more years. After that, they can apply for permanent residency. Hope this was helpful. Great video!😁
I really hope Starbuck’s doesn’t come into Albania with their overpriced coffee and ruin the local coffee culture and the local’s businesses. The world doesn’t need more Starbucks.
I've got no interest in seeing or visiting American food/drink chains when I travel to other countries. I want to experience the local culture, people and food, not curated tourist crap or the same chain stores I already hate here at home!
I've been in Albania last year 2022 I was alone so I rented a car and I start roaming from Tirana to Vlore for about 4 days after that Saranda and Ksamil and the blue eye spending one week over there it was amazing.. then I went to Berat and Gjirokaster spending two days in each one exploring.. then I returned to Tirana to change the car with 4x4 and head to Shkoder which is a small city in the north of Albania to start my trip to Theth and Valbona ( villages ) in the Alps of Albania as they say.. spending another week in the idyllic fairy tale villages. and to have the perfect closure to my trip i went to the small city of Pogradec to spend two days at the small nice beach of lake Orhid which is divided between Albania and North Macedonia. believe me guys that was the trip of a life time. So thank you Dany for the valuable information and inspirations which started this trip in the first place and could lead to a better one.
Albania is one of the best countries that I have ever been to, the people have hearts of pure gold and the place is beautiful. I’m going again next month and cannot wait ♥️

I was in Albania when I saw your Georgia video. Now I’m in Georgia watching your Albania video 😂. While I appreciate that Georgia is more developed- you’re right - I think I prefer Albania.
I checked out some statistics about tourism in Georgia and Albania and The numbers are significantly higher in Albania.Albania is reaching 9 millions foreign tourists this year.Yes,there are certain seasons that you will see less tourists but this happens in Croatia as well which is super touristic country.I've been in Croatia,in Zadar precisely, winter time and i must say you cannot see a single tourist on the streets. Albania is the same.
Probably most of those tourists are Albanians from neighbouring countries like Kosovo, Serbia, Macedonia etc or foreign albanians from western countries going back home for a vacation
People keep calling albanian citys Ottoman like w t f, albanians were there for centuries, they have fighted to keep for them this Beautiful places, what has that to do with Ottomans or Greece?
In term of style since most of the cities were burned /destroyed ruined by the Ottomans and then while some disepeared from the face of the earth , some of them were rebuilt more in a ottoman style of architecture which is more visible on the cities like Berat, and Gjirokaster to a certain degree, and in Tirana old ottoman houses as well. Then again we still call it Berat (and while some say it refers to Belgrade some say is Turkish, I have no idea which one of these is true but in any way is not an Albanian name and we should have renamed it to it's original name, as well as a lot of other places but what we do instead we still continue to name places with names from other countries to this day, this is my personal opinion anyway) when the ancient Ilirian name was Antipatrea, so we have our part of the guilt for not preserving well our names, traditional culture and architecture etc.And being under the Ottoman Empire for 5 centuries is inevitable. But truth be told Every country has taken and been inspired from other countries in terms of architecture and other cultural aspects. Good things are meant to be shared, the bad on the other hand is better not to mess up with, and hopefully we will be wise enough to tell the difference between the two in the future
@@Diana.K-rm4gm Albania is one of the few countries in the world where different people respect differences in culture and religion e.g. Muslims, Christians seem to live together well.
