    Kasey Wong still owes me and my roommate's key deposits from last year, it's already been 10 months. I've heard about similar situations from multiple students who have lived in his property. Please consider how reliable/ethical this guy is. Kasey, if you see my comment, please give me my key deposit back, I have reached out to you multiple times throughout the year...

      I think the most profitable approach on this deal was flip it. It wouldn’t have been as Cashflow positive as his other properties

    You say the property can not cash flow.. is it Bc the price per unit is just too high?? Just doing some math seems like at $1800/month you really should aim to get property under $150k per unit (new build probably be around 80-100k unit)...? I don’t have any training in this though just a lot of interest lately.. almost got enough cash to get into multi unit

    Is Kasey Wong basement rental a legal apartment? Would if be foolish to rent a not legal basement apartment? Matt could you do an episode on basement rentals?

    I don't understand how the furniture company benefits by staging a house? Is there price tags on the furniture or something?

      Kind of, yes. If you've ever been to a 'dream home' that's staged they have signs or business cards for the businesses that provide the furniture on the furniature. Like 'this room decorated by The Brick' for example, so if someone likes the room, they purchase the furniature from The Brick.

      @@jessicaburroughs5763 I c. But as Kasey puts it seems as though anyone selling a regular family home or condo can get it staged for free via a local furniture store. You think that's the case, or it's only for dream homes, or much larger projects such as Kaseys? Where more people will walk through that one staged room? It's not like all his units are staged.

    I might have missed it but did he do any value adding ? Why wouldn’t the original company sell for the 13m?

      Great question! I believe they were being rented, so he’s slowly sold off units as they became vacant. Existing owner wanted to move onto other projects and liquidate position immediately
