I dont know what it is about the hurdy gurdy that makes it sound exactly like the type of instrument that would be used during a narration portion of a movie or documentary or show.

My guess is that if you play a funny song on a Hurdy-Gurdy, will have the same effect as seeing a clown perform on stage, but with his eyes staring into nowhere, tears ready to ruin his mascara, and his voice shaking, as if in a breakdown

@cryingsurrogate My guess is, there's music for funerals and music for holidays. But there's no piano, for example, for funny or sad songs.
