A superb live performance by the King. His versatility was incredible. He could sing everything from Hound Dog to Bridge Over Troubled Water, from Guitar Man to How Great Thou Art, from Teddy Bear to The Sound of Your Cry. No one has ever come close to him, not when he was alive, and not since. That's the way it is folks.
This concert literally ended what the Memphis Record started. It showed that Elvis could sing ANYTHING and make it sound electric. I wish more people could see this ( how many versions are there!?) To see just how dynamic he was. We will never see another like him.

He went from Rock-a-billy to I don't know what *blue-eyed soul?). He was so scary good in the "That's The Way It Is"era. The album "The Memphis Record " (the reissue with all the best sides) is just amazing. So much more depth than his other stuff.

When you watch Aloha you can see something has gone out of him, he does not move or seem to have the fire he had before. A sadness to watch the Aloha concert, it is so obvious that he is hurting!!
