In 1972 I saw his Vegas concert right from the center table and only two people sat closer to the stage. He was absolutely incredible, he electrified the place. His voice was pure gold and he was even more gorgeous in person than he was in the movies. I saw him in concert 6 times in the 1970's, he was breathtaking every time. When I was growing up, Elvis singing on the radio gave me hope I could survive my childhood.
My brother saw nearly every rock artist and band in the 1960's & 70's and when we saw Elvis in concert for the first time he said Elvis blew all the others out of the water.

All of Elvis concerts were sold out.

We sat approx. 20 feet from Elvis for he wanted his fans up close & we also had a great meal - (4) tickets & dinner - $79. Someone cancelled out & we got the tickets.

However, Elvis remains the greatest musician and entertainer of all time, but in all his songs, all the power of his soul comes out. One could also say that he gave his whole heart to his listeners.
