wouldnt change anything, opponent had shadow word pain for the berserker, look at 8:02, maybe 2 more face damage but his opponent healed back to 30 before dying, so no difference in the end
Trust me, I have to live with the drivel in my head all the time, you just see it in a comment every now and again. I dislike it *way* more than you do. Appreciate you lookin out for me though, thank you.
So? He still has them. Just because you draft a good deck it means you aren't allowed to be surprised about the deck quality of your opponent? Is there some pleb arena player rule where you are forbidden to comment on the deck of your opponent once your deck exceeds a certain tier score?
XGamerFangX Yeah because defending a rational position from infantile babble is something only a "white knight" would do... and most people possessing cognitive faculties I suppose but never mind that right?
That was the worst Kazakus choice I've ever seen. Instead of picking 3 random demons he couldve easily went for 8 damage and resurrect 3 minions that died. Huge tempo. Cause 10 mana kazakus potion basically takes up 2 turns. Aka gives you enough time to draw more resources.
Kripp has been complaining about arena priest for weeks because they automatically win if they have either epic board clear, but Kripp manages to draft both and still loses at 2 wins. If Kripp faced that deck at 11-1 he'd say "How did this deck ever lose? It's LITERALLY impossible!"
Dude Kripp's deck was really good but the other guy's deck was absolutely insane and the guy was extremely lucky. No one can win against that, I'm surprised Kripp only lost to fatigue.
Jesse Frederick You should watch the entire video before throwing words at the comment section. This is a mirror and a Priest mirror usually ends up being a "my minion is bigger than yours" rather than "my board is bigger than yours" due to their Hero Power. Kripp managed to get MUCH more value from his board clears, but the other guy had much more minion value and a ridiculous amount of luck with the random demons he got from a randomly stolen card from a top deck when Kripp had an useless card and a game changing one. Pretty much all the cards with RNG played by Kripp, were also played by his opponent and you can clearly see the results go from equal to higher for the opponent.
The opponent had 3 Kabal Talonpriests, Blackwing Corruptor with dragon synergy, Temple Enforcer, 2 Drakonid operatives with dragon synergy, shadow madness, lightbomb and holy nova, had a mind vision to kazakus potion and got 2x 7/9 legendary demons from the kazakus potion's random demons effect... I don't think it's a wonder he lost. The fact he was at 2 wins and lost doesn't really matter if the opponent has such luck and good deck.
Kripp is well aware and regularily emphazises, that in arena you also need luck to get to high wins. Then again - In the moment you sometimes don't have that distanced view and just see the RNG that fucks you. Emotions take over and you say obviously unreflected stuff like "How did this deck ever lose". Nothing new here - just humans being human. And that this is at 2-0 says absolutely nothing. Those are decks that might get a 12-0. It is just more likely to face those at 8-0. But that is also why you sometimes see insane decks at 3-2 if they got unlucky/faced other insane decks.
hey kripp! you ever thought about making a video of you reacting to other well known players' games and giving insight about what you would do differently if at all? love your vids man and happy new year.
Although it obviously wasn't the case, he could have had Deathwing. He used that Twilight Whelp all game to proc his operatives, so that could have been mistaken for a huge dragon like Deathwing or Nef.
In hindsight you can always say that, but at that point from Kripps perspective it was definitely the safe choice. No matter what happens he can clear the board and gain card advantage, which would seal the deal. The only way for the opponent to beat that is if he literally uses Mind Vision and gets the 50/50 on steal and gets sick demons out of the potion. Even after he stole the potion he would have lost as long as he didn't get exactly Jaraxxus/Doomguard or 2x Krul.
I'm not convinced on that and while I was watching live I chose firelands portal even before I knew what happened. We know the first card in his opponent's hand is some dragon he's been unwilling to play all game (at this point I was betting on the 2/1 or a 10 mana dragon) and whatever he drew the prior turn. Kazakus leaves you with a random, albeit powerful potion, an empty board and your opponent with a 6/1 Foe Reaper (that you have no way to kill). Firelands leaves him with an empty board, and you with a random 5 drop and the 2/2 already on board. I feel that the board presence at that point in the game outweighed Kazakus, as outside of trading or that potion, Kripp had to way to kill the Foe Reaper or establish any sort of board presence to win the game with.
You're contradicting yourself. You said you were betting on him having a 10 mana dragon and then you want to pick a random 5 drop that kills the 1 health Foe Reaper over a mass polymorph that refills your hand? For all you know the Firelands Portal could give you a 2/2 that deals 5 to your face, the average result isn't even that good anyway. If you pick the Firelands Portal you run out of steam very quickly, especially if the random minion you get is bad. I don't think Firelands is ever the right choice there, which is funny, because in this specific case it would have been. Playing the Portal right away would have guaranteed the opponent steals a Potion of Madness, but you can't know he has exactly that one that card out of all the cards in the game and even if he has it, it is still a 50/50 whether or not he even gets the Kazakus Potion, which is probably his only way of winning that game, since any threat he'd put out would get polymorphed and he'd run out of steam very quickly. In general by picking Kazakus there you secure the game since you can just clear the opponents board the turn after and refill your hand. Picking the Portal gives you a stronger turn right away (which might not even be much stronger if the random 5 drop is bad) but after that you still rely on drawing good cards and the opponent not having any threats or answers to your threats. Going into fatigue it should be quite obvious which one of these choices is right.
kazakus was the best choice but choosing turn all minions into sheep was the mistake imo, i feel like in the situation of your opponent has only one guy on the field picking aoe is a missplay
Antoyne Beauchemin Roy His opponent was going to kill the dragon while hitting the minion next to him, only taking 2 damage instead of 5, that's the reason why Sorry for my english, hope you understand anyway :P

Kripp made kind of a bad play at the end. If he had self healed instead of healing the foe reaper, he could then trade both minions to kill 1 krul and then turn the other into a sheep, which would leave him with exactly 1 hp and the opponent would die of fatigue.

Disliking someones comment doesn't do anything, it doesn't decrease the score or visibility. It's just a placebo thing.
Disliking a youtube comment lol. Like that does anything
i remember when dislikes was a thing. youtube just disabled them idk. the funny thing is that no one talks about it.
That is one of the craziest arena games I have ever seen. Enjoyed every second of it

here we see Kripp vs RNGesus himself.
Every arena run is „the most epic game”. Dayum, Kripp, easy on the epicness. Leave some for the plebs.
That was so fucking intense
the way he smiles at you when he think he's made a really good video is what gets me through the day
i snorted two rails of gunpowder and chugged a full gallon of gasoline let's fucking do this
High Overlord Beardo butt jungles :)

You are actually right.
There's a flying seagull on his forehead.
Maan have to admit this was one of the best games in a long time :D Nice way to start 2017 Kripp!!!
1 Health Matters
I'm still baffled he didn't pick Deal 8 -> Summon 3 friendly minions. Kills the Harvester and gets 3 bodies.
Yeah, really surprised he picked polymorph all over res 3.
Jiecut RandomPlace Same here, I was thinking Res 3 and add Demons.

Yeah, Yeah, 1 Hit Point Matters :D Opponents Deck was absolutly ridiculous.... I mean... that Krul Into Krul Move? WTF!? Insane Arena Match!
SUCH AN INSANE ENDING HOLY CRAP
13:00 He definitely got the potion. Either POTION of madness, or Kazakus potion.
holy shit krip loved the two vids tonight. youre a minesweeper G, and the arena game was super intense :O GG
these are the games you send someone a friend request over. Not only were the decks insane for arena, but both people played well.
Surprising number of dragons in the opponent's deck. And as Kripp mentioned, the non-dragons related are mostly quality cards.
you have one of your most epic games ever.. every week.
LMFAO I FUCKEN LOST IT AT 14:39 BOYS
Face/Potion would have been lethal (from the 1 extra face damage he would get with his sheep) right?
That was literally the most interesting game of arena I have seen
Played out just like the minesweeper game, extremely trying throughout, and looking good near the end, but still fucked by rng
I lost it at the Mind Vision at 12:07
Even before the late game stuff Kripp seemed more unhappy than normal
Jesus, i would have been so salty if i would lose to that insane thief dragon priest at 2:0
the most insane game i ever see
9:00 when the complain begins xDDD
10:16 lol
11:05 happy now
12:32 unhappy again
16:05 more complain
19:10 sad face
after a game like that I'd have quit until the next expansion
Craziest game I've seen in a while
that arena game was insane
6:25 why the fuck didn't he just Madness a 2/2 and trade into another 2/2? Kill two 2/2s vs kill one 2/3.

he didnt have a deck counter and thought he could have topdeck a holy nova maybe?

What is last card? Is it Deathwing?????
Not enough minesweeper, 0/10.
I literally would have quit Hearthstone on the spot after he top decked mind vision. I wasn't even the player in the clip and I still might.
There are still houses with asbestus in the US?..
doubt it, but anyway he is in canada, and from what i know it's illegal i ncanada too.
Can someone explain me that attack at 11:40 i dont understand at all ty
Antoyne Beauchemin Roy His opponent was going to kill the dragon while hitting the minion next to him, only taking 2 damage instead of 5, that's the reason why
Sorry for my english, hope you understand anyway :P
yea thx dont know how i didnt saw that xD maybe cause i didnt play goblin and gnomes expansion. thx!
You're welcome mate! ;)
Hahahahah
Someone mentioned rushin to Kripp!
judging by his icon that was probably him!

Kazakus Potion from Mind Vison... Anduin's wet dream!
That was insane.
so i've used to watch kripp religiously since poe days but stopped since almost a year ago i think. what is this new house he is in? is it new? is it in canada? does he live with his gf?
Minesweeper was right.
Potion of madness his sheep for the 1 damage needed?
Kristoff du Toit It was transformed that turn so it still had summoning sickness and couldn't attack
Billy Furcrap no it still works but he had no mana. I forfot the potion was 10 mana.
1 Hp matters?
When you played Lightbomb I remebered your video about epic-quality removal.. then he had it too and the complain started. Later on you pull a fair Dragonfire Potion, that's weird.. I get the better deck thing, no problems here, but it was funny to think about it
when he looked at the card he got it was super obvious he got the kazakus potion. .. he wouldnt look at potion of madness for that long
Kudo TV it was also obvious since he didnt replay the reaper and just passed the turn
true
That was crazy!
Shouldve picked the Brann.
I wish I could draft a Dragon deck like that. Holy Shit!
Brann and courier couldve been a huge carry.
does he not understand percentage and chance or?
that berserker missplay decided the game ;d
Wow. Really insane.
1 HP Matters #6 confirmed?
Kripp made kind of a bad play at the end. If he had self healed instead of healing the foe reaper, he could then trade both minions to kill 1 krul and then turn the other into a sheep, which would leave him with exactly 1 hp and the opponent would die of fatigue.
nevermind i saw the no mana Cristal
I made a 3-3 arena deck without a single 1 drop or 0 drop and 2 legendaries.
0:37 Creeparian
amazing game!
OUTKRIPPED.
w2c that jurassic park shirt?
Hey Kripp, it's Fabian. Am good
Kazakus right choice, totally wrong picks for potion. Unlucky mind vision.
Kripp loses another game from Kazakus greed. Could have easily taken the board and tempo with the firelands portal or a better pick off Kazakus.
Moo
I'm upset for you at the end there.
1 hp matters #6
bisha boba losha kaba
Crazy
epic match
sorry to tell you, but someone has to lose
The best HS player in the world, PERIOD!
Mihai Kos lol
i was referring to that video made by reynad who kept saying kripp is the best HS player only because his fanbase is huge, but to be honest kripp is better than reynad in constructed '4Head'
guess arena is pure skill. im dissapointed kripparena
Kripp seems awfully seductive in the intro
Epic...
Mirror? They're not even the same hero.
In arena there are those crazy arena decks and then there are mine 1-3 decks with shit cards
Less than a min ago :O
