Notice the DPRK representative is careful with his words, calling them "South Korea" instead of "Republic of Korea", since they do not recognise the country.
@@hophhie4595 Worse than India Pakistan?😂😂😂 There's no place more tense that indo pak border, both are blood thirsty opponents with nuclear weapons ready to be launched anytime, just you need is a spark, what could be more worse than that?
@@hophhie4595 Their history and relationship really isn't anything like India and Pakistan. Korea is one nation, one people which was only divided less than a century ago, against the wishes of the people. Those people then fought one of the most destructive wars in history against the most powerful military in history. Then the war ends in a stalemate and is never officially declared over, leaving the most tense border in the entire world, as it is many ways still considered an active warzone. Add in the social/economic analysis of the two extremely different paths taken by the "two Koreas" and you end up with a heartbroken, divided people who overwhelmingly still want reunification, but the road to get there gets longer and more difficult each day. Nothing like India and Pakistan.
When will the denuclearization begin North Korea? You are causing several proliferators to dedicate entire varieties of nuclear systems to be in operation (pre-emptive) targeting your assets.
Honestly, why would they want to denuclearize? They're a small state whose existence is threatened. Having a nuclear arsenal is honestly the only thing that can deter larger, more powerful states and their puppets from attacking it. State sovereignty has been ignored countless times and having nuclear weapons may be the only way to have it respected now. Increasing proliferation of nuclear weapons isn't wanted, but until smaller states are allowed to exist without being under the constant threat of illegal invasion, having a nuclear arsenal is their best bet. Side note: I'm just a regular guy who has this opinion. I haven't went to school or sought a degree related to international studies or nuclear proliferation. I'm just talking about the issue based on my observation, research, and limited knowledge/opinion on small staes access to nuclear weapons as a potential deterrent to aggression.
@@n8an811 that’s what I’m thinking about. With the recent Ukraine crisis, what’s wrong with having nuclear weapons while a large nation with tons of them invade your country.
