On my next truck project 2006 3500 2wd got my 10 lug alloys now getting the adapters steel and tires and balancers video was great going with 22.5 semi truck tires 255/70/22.5
Great video, thanks for the detailed info for all of us out here looking to swap to the big tire setup. Also digging the shirt OBS Co. is a great business to support and buy swag from. Keep up the good content.
Great looking truck! One question. What did you do about the speedometer being off and did you have to program anything for the transmission to shift correctly?
@@jeffglodowski5322 I tried using my SCT to change wheel and tire size but it never would stick, I think I did change the trans tune though with one I already had on my sct
You could har ran the stud centric sleeve lug nuts. 3 on each rim on the front would've save you some cash. If you have hub centric adapters on the rear you could've ran them on the rear as well.
@@kapokidkidkapo719 okay. They are lug nuts wit sleeves built on them to center a hub centering wheel. Don't work on pilot centering wheels because the wheel stud bore is to large.
Hey does the truck rides straight on the road or it tracks side to side in the back? Highway tires have a solid sides on the tire and that keeps the truck straight. Tires you have are caller "Street tires" meaning they are not high speed tires. At high speeds they tend to snake a bit causing you to keep the moving the steering wheel back and forth to stay in the lane. Please let us know your input it will be greatly appreciated.
Awesome video. You answered alot of the questions that I've been seeking. I recently purchased my first truck and I am looking to install the same type of rims but the black ones. Two questions, what is the exact size of your wheels and am I able to fit those with only a 2.5" leveling kit?
Awesome truck! I have 24.5 Alcoa wheels on my 2011 ram dually I'm having a really hard time trying to find any mud tires or AT tires that are smaller than 44" tall Any help would b greatly appreciate thanks I can run 37-40" inch tires Currently stretching 24s on my 24.5 rim not good
Very nice set up but why dindnt u go with direct bolt i think with spacer and the weight of does wheel and spacer u r putting alot of stress on does bearing i got direct bolt on my 19 f450 with 275/70/22.5 tires i like the way they stick out in the rear
Really looks nice man. I’ve got a 2004 F550 that’s two wheel drive that I’m wanting this done to. Is there anyone that you could recommend to me that could do this? I use this truck daily for hauling lumber and most of the time there are other drivers in it besides myself so I need it done right for the safety purposes. Thanks. I’m located in northwest Alabama
I get the impression he ran actual 22.5s with the heavy semi truck tires and not milled wheels with light duty truck tires. But we'll probably never know
I know this is an old video but of course they didn’t call you back and tell you ANYTHING about your tow capacity. They wouldn’t answer it to your face. Liability.
New? Bro how could you say that. U got a hella deal , maybe back then but knew you would pay twice what you paid and the difference between 19.5 & 22.5 is minimal to none , it’s all in the tires. Facts
Well if you know what you are doing you cam buy new dura bright for 125. 4 golf balls thrown in the tire will balance the tires you spend about 3 times what you should have when someone doesn't know what they are doing
Finally.....a complete overview with detailed content! Thanks. Great Video.

Great looking truck! One question. What did you do about the speedometer being off and did you have to program anything for the transmission to shift correctly?
You could fix the speedometer problem by using a tuner and putting the wheel info into it and it will automatically fix it to the correct speed.

yea these are 22.5 on 36.6'' tall tires yes only a leveling kit keep in mind a stock 450 sits a tiny bit higher than 350/350
